🎯 Target: D.J. Moore (CHI), ADP 41, WR23

The Bears understood just how inconsistent their offense was in 2024, so they brought in Ben Johnson to fix it. I expect Moore to benefit; he had a crazy up and down year, with 5 weeks as a Top-24 PPR receiver, and 7 weeks outside of the Top-40. His chemistry with Caleb Williams just wasn’t there. With Johnson’s proven track record, that will improve immensely.

Moore is a proven talent. He was WR5 in target separation, WR3 in yards after the catch, and broke the top 10 in targets. Without Keenan Allen on the roster and a couple of unproven youngsters, Moore has the potential to smash his current ADP.

🛑 Fade: DeAndre Hopkins (BAL), ADP 185, WR77

There are plenty of reasons to avoid drafting Hopkins, starting with his age and fading statistics. Even with Patrick Mahomes as his QB, Hopkins had trouble getting open last season, and logged just a single week as a PPR WR1. It won’t get much better in Baltimore, where the focus is on the running game, and players like Zay Flowers remain ahead of him in the pecking order.

In the end, Hopkins is getting an ADP bump from the name recognition, not anything explicitly related to football. So, don’t bother with him, even as a depth pickup.

🎯 Target: Jakobi Meyers (LV), ADP 72, WR40

Meyers is the clear, unquestioned WR1 in Las Vegas. The other players aren’t exactly household names. Additionally, Geno Smith represents a decent upgrade for Meyers at QB. Remember, Smith has supported solid fantasy production for the last few years in Seattle, so Meyers should enjoy a solid number 2 role behind Brock Bowers.

Meyers ranked 15th in total targets and eked out a Top-20 finish in points per game with poor QB play last season, so I think he’ll easily outperform his WR40 draft position.

🛑 Fade: Cedric Tillman (CLE), ADP 145.5, WR63

Tillman flashed his potential during a couple of big spike weeks midseason. During Weeks 7-8, he caught 15 passes for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns. But, the rest of the season was a major dud, as he failed to stay on the field due to concussion issues. That remains part of the risk. But even further, the Browns’ offense is filled with guys who will compete for targets, including David Njoku, Jerry Jeudy, and Diontae Johnson, all fantasy contributors in the past. Then, we really don’t know what the Browns’ QB situation will look like.

As a result, I’m fading Tillman completely.
