#5: RB- Marshawn Lloyd (GB)

You know I’ve been down on Josh Jacobs all summer after he posted one of the worst statistical careers of his season, and then was made to look even worse by Zamir White. Well, the Packers have already lost AJ Dillon for the year, and Lloyd is in line to be the next guy up when he’s healthy. Even though that won’t be for Week 1, I think this is one of the better young RB stashes you can get, especially if Lloyd’s owner needs immediate help.

#4: WR - Xavier Worthy (KC)

With Hollywood Brown already ruled out for Week 1, Worthy should be in line to be on the field for most of the snaps. He played well in the preseason, making some nice splash plays. And, based on prior usage, Worthy should be the downfield target for Mahomes while Rashee Rice does much of his work near the line of scrimmage. Grab Worthy before he breaks out and look like a genius.

#3: RB - Kyren Williams (LAR)

Lots of people, including myself, were a little spooked by the announcement that Williams would return punts for the Rams. Your league mate who drafted him may be feeling some sort of panic as well. Regardless of the new role, Sean McVay likes to give the lion’s share of carries to one single bell cow back. That role should still belong to Williams, and I don’t think his volume will reduce too much early in the season.

#2: WR - Terry McLaurin (WAS)

People came around on Terry leading up to Week 1, as his ADP jumped after the trade of Jahan Dotson. I still think he’s a great target. Now that he’s catching passes from Jayden Daniels, who threw for 40 touchdowns last season, Terry should get more quality targets down the field.

#5: TE - Dallas Goedert (PHI)

It’s time to unload guys and get a premium on their name alone. Goedert should be good trade bait for the guy in your league who waited too long to draft a TE. The Eagles will be run-heavy again, Brown and Smith will dominate targets, and the offense struggled at times last year. Squeeze something out of this injury risk while you can.

#4: WR - DK Metcalf (SEA)

The Seahawks are in something of a sweet spot with their main receivers. Tyler Lockett is aging, but still performing. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is expected to take another positive step in his development. The unfortunate thing about all that is that the three of these players will cannibalize each other’s targets.

#3: WR - Stefon Diggs (BUF)

Diggs and Tank Dell had about the same third-round ADP by the end of the summer. But, Dell should be the one who returns the value on the pick. Diggs is aging, and ranked outside the top 40 in route win rate and target separation last season. He’s a star receiver that gets more lost in the shuffle than he ever has before.

#2: RB - Rachaad White (TB)

White still has a good floor as a volume-based RB involved in his team’s passing game. But, the efficiency hasn’t been there. And all of a sudden there’s buzz over rookie Bucky Irving, who’s gained respect in the locker room. That’s the kind of thing that tanks the value of a guy like White. Flip him while possible.
