#5: TE - Dalton Kincaid (BUF)

2.1 fantasy points is a certified dud for anyone, let alone a guy who was drafted to be a TE1. Thereā€™s no doubt his managers are frustrated. But, I donā€™t think this week is any cause for alarm. Kincaid earned the 8th-most targets at the position last season. Josh Allen is still Josh Allen. In the end, heā€™ll be right up there in the top-10, so if you can get him at a discount, nowā€™s the time.

#4: WR - Marvin Harrison Jr. (ARI)

The Cardinalsā€™ situation is ripe with opportunity for the pass catchers. Itā€™s a team with a bad defense and a rejuvenated talent at QB. Harrisonā€™s poor debut shouldnā€™t gave much bearing on the rest of this season. He still should emerge as the teamā€™s leading receiver based on talent alone. And, the plays he made during the summer werenā€™t flukes. So, if the Harrison drafter in your league is reactive enough to unload him, take advantage.

#3: QB - Joe Burrow (CIN)

Burrow had a quiet Week 1 for the second year in a row, but there were a number of factors indicating thereā€™s nothing to worry about. Jaā€™Marr Chase was on a pitch count after his ā€œhold inā€. Tee Higgins was out with an injury. The Patriotsā€™ have been trashed all summer but have a better defense than people want to give them credit for. Burrow found a nice stride before his injury in 2023, with 4 of his last 5 games ending as the QB8 or better. Heā€™s a prime candidate to buy low before the Bengals get it together.

#2: WR - Chris Olave (NO)

Derek Carr spread the football around on Sunday to 8 different receivers, and the Saintsā€™ offense looks like it could be ready to take a huge step forward. If that's the case, Olave wonā€™t be the odd man out every week like he was in Week 1. Last year, Olave was 12th in targets and 6th in air yards. So, if Carr stays as comfortable as he looked, Olave will benefit from the improvement.

#5: RB - Javonte Williams (DEN)

Ugh. This was supposed to be the season of Javonte. Instead, it looks as though Jaleel McLaughlin has usurped some of that volume we expected. McLaughlin had 10 carries to Javonteā€™s 8 ā€” although neither back was efficient ā€” and had 5 targets to Javonteā€™s 2. Itā€™s not a traditional ā€œsell highā€ after a performance of just 3.3 points. But, based on the name, you might be able to grab a prospect with more upside.

#4: WR - Xavier Worthy (KC)

Worthy looked fantastic with his speed, particularly on his rushing touchdown last Thursday night. The problem was that he only earned 3 touches. With the volume that Rashee Rice (9 targets), and Travis Kelce (4 targets) are going to get each week, and the impending return of Hollywood Brown, Worthy may not have the opportunities to turn in consistent fantasy performances. So, get some value for him after his 2 TDs.

#3: QB - Jalen Hurts (PHI)

His 18.4 fantasy points was good for 10th, but some concerning signs are emerging. Both his 80.3 QB rating and his 2.5 yards per rush would have ranked as his 5th-worst in 2023. With Saquon Barkley looking as dominant as he did, thereā€™s less reason for Hurts to rush the football. And, his 2 interceptions and 2 fumbles (1 lost) put the offense in bad spots. So far, Hurts looks like heā€™s losing some of that dominant magic.

#2: WR - Stefon Diggs (HOU)

Diggs had himself a nice week as the WR9 with 21.9 PPR points. It looks good so far. But, it was the 2 touchdowns that really brought his final performance up. In reality. Diggs caught ALL of his targets for just 33 yards. In fact, Diggs has failed to reach 75 yards in 7 of his last 9 games going back to last season. And, hasnā€™t reached 100 yards since Week 6. Itā€™s going to be tougher to get there playing with Nico Collins and Tank Dell, so he may become a touchdown-dependent fantasy start.
