START: Alvin Kamara (NO)

If you’re hesitating to start Kamara, you’re missing out. He’s averaging 33 PPR points per game and ranks second in fantasy points per opportunity with 1.53. The Eagles have been tough against RBs, allowing fewer than 10 points per game, but Kamara is proving to be matchup-proof. Keep him locked into your lineups until injury risk becomes a concern.

SIT: Breece Hall (NYJ)

You’re probably not actually benching your first round pick, but proceed with caution. New England’s defense is tougher than it seems, allowing the second-fewest rushing yards per game. It’s a Thursday night divisional matchup, and with Braelon Allen vulturing two touchdowns on just nine touches last week, Hall’s fantasy upside feels much riskier.

START: Zamir White (LV)

White’s production has been disappointing so far, but this week he faces the Panthers, who are giving up nearly 200 rushing yards per game. With standout performances already allowed to Alvin Kamara and J.K. Dobbins, this could be White’s breakout opportunity, especially if the Raiders get ahead early. If not this week, then when?

SIT: Devin Singletary (NYG)

Singletary’s Week 2 was solid, averaging 5.9 yards per carry and scoring a touchdown. But he’s not a weekly starter, and Cleveland’s defense remains stout against the run. With the Giants’ defense potentially waking up Deshaun Watson and company, look elsewhere for a more reliable RB this week.

START: Jordan Mason (SF)

I hope CMC drafters were savvy enough to grab Mason for insurance. Mason is tied for first in the NFL in carries, and he faces a Rams defense allowing the fifth-most PPR points to RBs. Despite just two targets on the season, Mason should find plenty of room to run in Week 3.

SIT: Ezekiel Elliott (DAL)

The Ravens’ defense has been dominant, allowing the fewest rushing yards per game so far. Zeke is averaging just 28 yards per game on the ground and remains heavily touchdown-dependent. With Baltimore’s front seven looming, this looks like a tough week to roll the dice on Elliott.

START: Brandon Aiyuk (SF)

Don’t be alarmed by Aiyuk’s slow start—this should be his breakout week. The Rams are middle-of-the-pack against WRs, but they just got torched by Marvin Harrison Jr. With Deebo Samuel sidelined, Aiyuk is poised for a volume bump, especially since Brock Purdy isn’t targeting his RBs without CMC. Start Aiyuk with confidence.

SIT: Christian Kirk (JAX)

Kirk’s season is heading in the wrong direction. After posting just 1 catch for -3 yards last week, he’s clearly behind Brian Thomas Jr. and (unfortunately) Gabe Davis. With only 7 targets all season, Kirk should stay on your bench until something changes.

START: Jameson Williams (DET)

This is a great spot for Williams in both fantasy and DFS. With the Lions and Cardinals featuring shaky defenses and explosive offenses, there will be plenty of scoring opportunities. Williams has 20 targets this season and should thrive against Arizona’s weak secondary. Get him in your lineup.

SIT: Terry McLaurin (WAS)

As much as it hurts, McLaurin is struggling—just 39 yards in two games despite leading the Commanders in snaps, targets, and receptions. Now, he faces a Bengals defense that just contained both the Patriots and Chiefs. Keep him benched this week.

START: DeVonta Smith (PHI)

With A.J. Brown likely out again in Week 3, Smith becomes a must-start. After pacing the Eagles in their Week 2 loss with 7 receptions, 76 yards, and a touchdown, Smith should see plenty of volume in a potential shootout with the Saints. Fire him up in all formats.

SIT: Michael Pittman (IND)

Pittman’s situation is rough with Anthony Richardson. He’s seeing fewer targets compared to his teammates, the catch rate has plummeted, and Richardson scrambles a lot under pressure. Add in the Bears’ defense, which is allowing the fourth-fewest points to WRs, and it’s a clear bench week for Pittman.
