START: Jakobi Meyers (LV)

Meyers was relatively quiet on Monday night, but he still led the team in receiving yards on a bad night for Desmond Ridder. The overall trend is that Meyers is averaging almost 10 targets over his last 7 games. So, he’s a volume-driven start when he takes the field against Jacksonville, who are a mess on defense.

SIT: Terry McLaurin (WAS)

I know Terry is typically someone you want in your lineups, especially after 5 touchdowns in the last 3 weeks. But, the Eagles present a different kind of challenge. Their defense is the best at limiting opposing fantasy WRs, and they locked Terry down in Week 11, holding him to 10 yards on just one catch. So, if you have other options, try to consider them.

START: Malik Nabers (NYG)

Nabers now has 37 targets and 23 receptions over the last 3 games, and is starting to feel QB-proof, even on the poor Giants’ offense. The Falcons present a positive matchup too, as the team who allows the 4th-most fantasy points per game to the position.

SIT: Michael Pittman (IND)

This one isn’t about the matchup, even though the Titans are a relatively stout defense. Pittman just doesn’t perform well anymore, with or without Anthony Richardson under center. He has zero weeks as a WR1 finisher, and just 2 inside the top-20 this season. He’s outside the top 60 in yards per route run, yards per reception, and fantasy points per opportunity. The truth is, if you’re still starting Pittman, you probably aren’t in the playoffs.

START: Jalen McMillan (TB)

McMillan has now carved out his role in the Buccaneer offense as a productive complement to Mike Evans. He has 3 touchdowns over the last 2 weeks. Dallas is next up for Tampa, and they are relatively vulnerable with not much left to play for. I’m thinking of McMillan as a WR2.

SIT: Tyreek Hill (MIA)

It’s wild that Hill has fallen so far this season. But, there’s just no real reason to trust him at this point. He was completely held in check by the Texans, and this week’s opponent is the 49ers, who have a strong pass defense. Could Cheetah have a spike week at any point? Sure. But, I’m not betting on it.
