#12: Aaron Jones (MIN) @ TEN

Tennesseeā€™s defense is much more tough and physical than their record suggests. But, Jones and the Vikings will see plenty of opportunities playing from ahead. So, he sneaks into my top-12 this weekend.

#11: Jahmyr Gibbs (DET) vs. JAX

The Jaguars are 3rd-worst against RBs in fantasy, and Gibbs is 2nd in the NFL in yards per touch and 1st in EPA. He should be able to break some tackles for big gains this weekend, even if Montgomery gets the goal line work.

#10: Kareem Hunt (KC) @ BUF

Huntā€™s success may be volume-based and very much on an Isiah Pacheco time limit. But, thatā€™s probably good enough against a Bills team allowing the 2nd-most fantasy points per game to RBs this season. Ride Hunt until Pacheco returns.

#9: Jonathan Taylor (IND) @ NYJ

Taylor is still the workhorse back for the Colts, and had 21 touches in the loss to Buffalo. The Jets started the year as a capable run defense, but lately have faltered with little to no offensive support. So, Taylor will get the carries to come through again.

#8: Kyren Williams (LAR) @ NE

Williams hasnā€™t scored a touchdown in 4 weeks now, but that doesnā€™t bother me. Heā€™s still averaging over 22 touches per game, going against a Patriotsā€™ defense that has been gashed recently by lesser backs. So, trust him this time.

#7: Derrick Henry (BAL) @ PIT

King Henry normally wouldnā€™t rank so low. But, Pittsburgh has shut down some stud RBs already this season. Henry is still a must-start. Iā€™m just predicting a rare performance where he finishes lower than a top-12 guy.

#6: Bijan Robinson (ATL) @ DEN

Bijan is on a tear these last 5 games. He hasnā€™t ended up worse than the RB10 in that span. But also, the Broncosā€™ defense is bottom-10 in fantasy football against opposing RBs. So, he should keep it going.

#5: Alvin Kamara (NO) vs. CLE

Kamara is the league-leader in touches. But, his running efficiency has dropped a bit since earlier in the season. It wonā€™t matter against a Cleveland team starting to focus on how to come back stronger in 2025. Kamaraā€™s volume alone keeps him in the top-5.

#4: Joe Mixon (HOU) @ DAL

Dallas has allowed an average of nearly 35 points per game during their 4-game losing streak. But also, Mixon hasnā€™t finished with fewer than 16.6 points in a healthy game since Week 2. So, heā€™s one of the safest plays on the slate.
