SIT: James Cook (BUF)

This is a tough one because chances are Cook owners have locked him into their lineups all season. Heā€™s the PPR RB11 after all. But, the Chiefs are a different animal. Theyā€™ve allowed a ridiculous 12 PPR points per game to the position this season, limiting backs like Alvin Kamara, Bijan Robinson, and even Derrick Henry. So, tread lightly with Cook.

START: Audric Estime (DEN)

Estime has taken over the lead duties from Javonte Williams, and their touch shares werenā€™t even close last weekend. Estime got 15 carries compared to just 1 for Williams. Even though he only totaled 53 yards, that was against the Chiefs. The Falcons represent a much friendlier matchup, so donā€™t be surprised when he produces at least RB2 numbers on Sunday.

SIT: Tony Pollard (TEN)

The Titans are reeling, and even though Pollard was an RB2 against the Chargers, Minnesota is the next obstacle in a difficult stretch. They are a top-5 defense against RBs. Then thereā€™s the fact that Tyjae Spears is getting nearly an identical share of touches. Itā€™s best to fade Pollard this week if possible.

START: Jaylen Warren (PIT)

It might be easy to fade both Steelers RBs during this divisional clash with Baltimore. The Ravens present a stout challenge against their opponentsā€™ ground games, allowing fewer than 60 rushing yards per contest. However, they also allow the 6th-most receptions per game to the position, and thatā€™s where Warren really outshines Najee Harris. With him looking like the more explosive back lately, Pittsburgh should give him the opportunities.

SIT: Rico Dowdle (DAL)

The Cowboys were unable to get anything good going against Philadelphia. So, even though Dowdle is their lead back, donā€™t expect too much for him against the Texans. Theyā€™re adept at limiting rushing yards. And until we see more from the Dalls offense as a whole, Dowdle is a tough start in fantasy.

SIT: Jaylen Waddle (MIA)

The Dolphins are a run-heavy team whose passing game hasnā€™t returned to form with Tuaā€™s injury comeback. Even as the leading receiver on Monday night, Waddle was only able to haul in 3 catches for 57 yards. And as lousy as the Raiders can be, they tend to limit their opponentsā€™ wideouts. So, find someone with more upside.

START: Marquez Valdes-Scantling (NO)

With Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed both on IR, MVS is the Saintsā€™ top option by default. That might be enough to start him on its own. But, the Browns have allowed 100 yards, a touchdown, or both to their opponentsā€™ top wideout in 5 straight games. That makes MVS a must-start.

SIT: Zay Flowers (BAL)

Flowers is a frustrating fantasy own. Heā€™s got 4 games with more than 100 receiving yards this seasonā€¦ and 5 games with less than 40. Heā€™s one of the premiere boom or bust plays, even with Lamar Jackson playing some of his best ball. The Steelers are one of the best defenses against WRs, allowing the fewest reception touchdowns all season. Leave Flowers on your bench.

START: Mike Williams (PIT)

The volume wasnā€™t there last week, but Williams did score a nice touchdown in the win against the Commanders. As he gets up to speed with the Steeler offensive scheme, he should start to attract even more attention from Russ Wilson. Thatā€™s especially true against Baltimore, who gets absolutely torched week-to-week in the passing game. So, thereā€™s room for both Pickens and Williams to perform.

SIT: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (SEA)

The young Seahawk is coming off of his career-best day in Week 9, scoring 37 PPR points on the back of 180 yards and 2 touchdowns. But, there are reasons to think that success may not continue. For one, DK Metcalf is on pace to return this week. When that happens, heā€™ll be the first option in the passing game. Secondly, the 49ers boast a stronger pass defense than the Rams. And finally, JSNā€™s success isnā€™t consistent. Before his Week 9 explosion, he hadnā€™t finished inside the top 30 receivers since Week 2. So, Iā€™m not betting on him again this weekend.
