#5: RB - Breece Hall (NYJ)
It’s no surprise that both Hall and Braelon Allen had tough performances against the Vikings in London. Minnesota currently ranks 3rd in the league in fantasy points allowed to RBs. Going forward, things loosen up significantly, with matchups against the Bills, Patriots, and Cardinals over the next 5 weeks. Breece should be able to find some running room against those foes, so if you can pry him from his frustrated owner, I still think it’s a good time to do it.
#4: WR - Davante Adams (LV)
The trade talk around Adams is heating up. It’s being reported that the Raiders would like to do a deal as soon as possible. And, so far the Jets and the Saints are the top contenders for such a deal. Either destination would look good for target quality, as both QBs are superior to what Adams is dealing with now. If you can get him before he’s dealt, he could be looking at a huge revival.
#3: RB - Chase Brown (CIN)
Brown got more carries than Zack Moss on Sunday and is now the Bengals’ leading rusher on the season. He’s worked his way into an approximate equal split of the touches, and is far more efficient than Moss, averaging 5.6 yards per carry compared to 3.7. Plus, even with Moss getting more receiving work, Brown is starting to take over some of the goal line work. He’s the number 1 guy for Cincy going forward.
#2: WR - Diontae Johnson (CAR)
Diontae Johnson remains a top target despite a rough outing with Andy Dalton at QB, catching just 3 passes for 23 yards on Sunday. He still ranks 3rd in the NFL in total targets, and with no real competition for looks, his role is secure. Even with Xavier Legette's return from injury in Week 6, Johnson should remain the top option, especially against easier defenses coming up. Don't be fooled by the dip—he’s still a target monster.
