10. Breece Hall (NYJ), ADP 34.0

Hall has a couple of red flags this offseason, keeping him on the edge of the top-10. Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis are still waiting in the wings, and Head Coach Aaron Glenn has noticed. He has publicly stated that the Jets may use a backfield committee. Justin Fields will also take some rushing opportunities away.

Still, Hall was explosive enough last season (16th in evaded tackles, 11th in breakaway runs) after his ACL recovery. He also had a huge role in the passing game (4th in receptions and receiving yards). So, with his skillset, he's still worth drafting as your first RB if you miss out on the others.

9. Chase Brown (CIN), ADP 34.5

Brown was 14th last season in PPR points per game, but his real value came after Week 9. He was the weekly RB13 or better in 6 of his final 8 starts of 2024. That was when he took over the bulk of the work. On the season, he was also 5th in receptions, 10th in evaded tackles, and 12th in total touchdowns. In other words: a full season as the lead back could be monstrous!

The Bengals kept the exciting trio of Burrow, Chase, and Higgins together, meaning the pressure will be off of their running backs. It puts Brown in a great position to succeed and serve as a solid RB1.

8. Derrick Henry (BAL), ADP 15.0

It's fair to wonder when King Henry will fall off the age cliff. He'll turn 32 this season, and history hasn't been kind to aging RBs with that many touches in his career. Then again, he's only finished lower than the RB4 once in his last 5 healthy seasons. Combine that with the fact that he still averaged 5.3 true yards per carry in 2024, and there has to be some left in the tank.

Ultimately, Henry seems to buck a lot of trends when it comes to RBs. Playing in a high-powered Baltimore offense keeps him squarely in the top-10.

7. Josh Jacobs (GB), ADP 26.0

Heavy volume was key to Jacobs finishing 8th in fantasy points per game last season (17.2). He averaged 19.8 touches per game and scored 16 touchdowns -- 4th best in the league. Impressively, he was also 2nd in evaded tackles and yards created, indicating he hasn't lost a step since his Raiders days.

There's some worry about MarShawn Lloyd eating into Jacobs's opportunity, but I don't see it. Lloyd hasn't been healthy as a pro yet, and the Packers were fine without his help. He's much more of a handcuff option than a true threat to Jacobs.

6. De'Von Achane (MIA), ADP 16.5

Achane was a revelation when he broke out in 2023. Last year, his per-touch efficiency dwindled with a heavier workload, but that's expected. He was still 10th in yards per touch, 15th in breakaway runs, and 7th in yards created per touch. For PPR purposes, don't forget he was also the league leader among RBs in receptions and receiving yards.

While Jaylen Wright is looking to make his own splash, the Dolphins parted ways with Raheem Mostert. They are comfortable rolling with Achane as their lead guy, and right now he's the most trustworthy pick on their offense.

5. RB: Christian McCaffrey (SF), ADP 11.0

CMC's days as the consensus top pick are over, and the health concerns remain an issue. But, so does the upside, so let's chase it. Every time he’s played a full season since 2018, he's finished either 1st or 2nd in fantasy points per game. By all accounts, he's healthy this summer, so all systems are go.

In the short time he was healthy last season, the 49ers fed him the ball like normal. I expect that to continue despite rumblings that the coaches will try to manage CMC’s usage. Isaac Guerendo flashed at times last year and is talented, but I see him as more of a backup than a 1b. So, if you like to take chances on risk-reward scenarios, CMC could still be your RB1.

4. RB: Ashton Jeanty (LV), ADP 11.0

Jeanty is projected to step in and start immediately in Las Vegas. He's part of a room including Raheem Mostert, Sincere McCormick and Zamir White. After his dominant 2024 at Boise State, during which PFF ranked him the 2nd best player in the country, there's no reason to think he can't play at the next level.

Fantasy managers should also be excited about Jeanty’s ability to break tackles. He’s been one of the most elusive backs in college football over the last 2 years, so the Raiders will be looking for him to use those skills immediately.
