Week 8 Trade-Aways
Here are 5 players that you should be selling ahead of Week 8 … in two minutes or less.

RB: Rhamondre Stevenson (NE)
Rhamondre just posted his best rushing line of the year against Tennessee: 18 carries for 88 yards and a score. But one big game doesn’t erase what’s been a messy season of inefficiency and ball security issues. He’s already put the ball on the ground multiple times this year, and even Patriots coaches have openly said their backs are overthinking runs trying not to fumble, which caps upside. So while his stock may look like it’s turning around, this is a perfect “sell high” window on a volatile player that could shift at any time… especially with the strong Browns’ run defense on deck.
RB: Quinshon Judkins (CLE)
Judkins just erupted for three touchdowns in a 31-point explosion against Miami. But don’t chase it! He ripped off one long 46-yard run, but the other 24 carries combined for just 38 yards, which is a massive efficiency red flag. The Browns had their best offensive output of the season against a soft run defense… but those kinds of matchups don’t come around often, and this offense hasn’t shown it can sustain scoring drives week to week. So if someone in your league wants to buy into the box score, this is the perfect time to cash out before Cleveland’s reality sets back in.
WR: Jordan Addison (MIN)
Jordan Addison’s raw stats might jump off the page after his 128-yard game against the Eagles. But there are lots of reasons to be skeptical. He’s strung together a few solid weeks, but this passing attack has looked shaky overall since the injury to J.J. McCarthy and now leans on Carson Wentz, who just threw three interceptions in the same game. Wentz’s inconsistency plus the Vikings’ recent offensive struggles create a much lower floor than Addison’s box score suggests, so it makes sense to move him now while his value is inflated.
WR: DeVonta Smith (PHI)
Smith just went nuclear (183 yards and a score), but the reality is that this kind of performance only comes along once in a while. He’s still the second option behind A.J. Brown in a run-heavy offense that doesn’t live in high-volume passing scripts most weeks. So if you can move him now off a career-best day, you’re capitalizing at the top of the market before the volatility inevitably swings the other way.
TE: Kyle Pitts (ATL)
Kyle Pitts finally looks fantasy-relevant again, so why not move him before the last 4 years of disappointment catches back up? He’s coming off a 7-catch, 62-yard game where he commanded double-digit targets for the first time since 2023, showing signs of the athletic upside everyone remembers. But he’s still living in a crowded offense where Drake London and Bijan Robinson routinely dominate the passing game, and his production has been inconsistent week to week. So if someone in your league is buying the “Pitts is back” narrative, this is a smart window to cash out before that volatility hits.
So that’s the list. 5 players to unload to your league mates before Week 8 … as promised, in two minutes or less.
