#5: WR - Demario Douglas (NE)

Drake Maye’s debut for the Patriots didn’t lead to a win, but it did lead to their highest scoring game of 2024, with Maye throwing 3 touchdowns. Douglas was his obvious favorite receiver, catching 6-of-9 balls for 92 yards and a score. I don’t want to read too much into one game, but the Pats’ ceiling already looks higher with Maye, and Douglas will be the playmaker.

#4: RB - Tyrone Tracy (NYG)

Devin Singletary had been the workhorse for the Giants, but had to sit out for the second straight game with a groin injury. Tyrone Tracy rushed for 129 yards in Week 5, and continued his opportunity lock on Sunday Night Football, looking every bit the RB1. As long as Singletary. is out, Tracy is a must-add.

#3: RB - Isaac Guerendo (SF)

The 49ers are a strong rushing offense to begin with, so if Jordan Mason is banged up, Guerendo should see success with an increased role. As it was last Thursday, he took his 10 carries for 99 yards against Seattle. With CMC’s hazy return timeline, Guerendo will become a must-add.

#2: WR - Jalen Tolbert (DAL)

The Cowboys got absolutely crushed by the Lions, so he didn’t make a ton of noise, but in Week 5, he scored over 21 fantasy points. And, he was still the 2nd-leading receiver on the team. behind CeeDee Lamb. There’s too much talent on the offense under Dak Prescott to think they’ll have many more duds like this one, and with Brandin Cooks on IR, Tolbert is the guy who will benefit.
