Jacoby Brissett starting for Arizona

Jacoby Brissett is expected to get the Week 7 start at quarterback. The timing lines up perfectly… with their bye next week, this gives Kyler Murray a full three weeks to get right before returning in Week 9. The offense leaned more on play action and pre-snap motion with Brissett, which fits his style way better than shotgun-heavy looks. That shift could quietly boost the fantasy outlook for Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr., since Brissett tends to feed his tight ends and attack early windows.

Emeka Egbuka’s game-time call

Tampa’s dealing with a key question at wideout this week. Emeka Egbuka is officially a game-time decision against the Lions. He popped up at practice late in the week, which gives him a shot to suit up. But it’s still very much a wait-and-see situation heading into Sunday. If he’s active, it’s a great matchup against a banged-up Detroit secondary, and he’d slide right back into must-start range. Just make sure you’ve got a backup plan in case the call comes down late. Two games are on Monday night, so there’s some flexibility if you plan ahead.

Commanders down Deebo and top three WRs

Rough injury news in Washington. Deebo Samuel has been ruled out with a bruised heel, and the Commanders are now down their top three receivers heading into Dallas. Terry McLaurin is still sidelined, and Noah Brown just hit injured reserve. That leaves Jayden Daniels with a seriously thin receiving corps in a divisional road game. This changes the entire outlook for Washington’s offense. We could see more short throws, heavier RB usage, or the tight ends taking on a bigger share. It’s a tough spot if you’ve been relying on this passing game for fantasy.

George Kittle returns

And finally, a bit of good news out of San Francisco. George Kittle has been activated and will suit up Sunday night against the Falcons. He tore his hamstring back in Week 1 but avoided the worst-case scenario, and now he’s officially back in the mix. That’s a big lift for the offense, especially with Ricky Pearsall and Brock Purdy both out. Even with some QB uncertainty, Kittle stepping back in gives this passing game a security blanket — and fantasy managers just got a top-tier tight end option back in lineups.

Puka Nacua Ruled Out

Big news out of Los Angeles for fantasy managers. Puka Nacua has officially been ruled out for Week 7 against Jacksonville. He’s been dealing with an ankle injury, and the team is opting to give him rest heading into their Week 8 bye. That means Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington will likely be the next men up alongside Davante Adams. If you’ve been relying on Nacua, this is a big pivot week, and it might open up a short-term streaming play in that Rams offense.

Garrett Wilson Doubtful

Not what Jets fans wanted to hear. Garrett Wilson is officially listed as doubtful for Week 7 against the Panthers. This comes after earlier reports hinted he might already be ruled out, and players tagged as doubtful usually don’t suit up. Still, the team hasn’t made it 100% official. Fantasy managers should prepare for life without Wilson this weekend… and look for a potential boost to the other Jets pass catchers if he’s sidelined.

Kenneth Walker Workload Watch

Interesting comments out of Seattle this week. OC Klint Kubiak said he wants to give Kenneth Walker more opportunities but also made it clear Zach Charbonnet and George Holani aren’t going away. Both Kubiak and head coach Mike Macdonald praised Walker’s progress but also emphasized they have a plan for how they’ll use the RBs. So for fantasy, it sounds more like status quo than a workload spike. Walker remains the lead, but it’s still a committee.

Josh Jacobs’ Status Up in the Air

A late-week addition to the injury report isn’t ideal. Josh Jacobs is listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Cardinals with an illness and a calf issue. He practiced in full Friday, which is a good sign, but the timing of that calf designation is worth watching closely. If he can’t go, Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks are next in line, though neither offers anything close to Jacobs’ role or upside.

Brock Bowers Likely Out

And over in Las Vegas, this one isn’t a shock. Brock Bowers is doubtful to play against the Chiefs in Week 7. He returned to limited practice on Friday, but all signs still point to him sitting this one out.If he somehow suits up, he could flirt with a low-end TE1 finish. But the floor would be shaky, and re-injury risk would be very real. This is likely a spot to pivot.
