Puka Nacua Ruled Out

Big news out of Los Angeles for fantasy managers. Puka Nacua has officially been ruled out for Week 7 against Jacksonville. He’s been dealing with an ankle injury, and the team is opting to give him rest heading into their Week 8 bye. That means Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington will likely be the next men up alongside Davante Adams. If you’ve been relying on Nacua, this is a big pivot week, and it might open up a short-term streaming play in that Rams offense.

Garrett Wilson Doubtful

Not what Jets fans wanted to hear. Garrett Wilson is officially listed as doubtful for Week 7 against the Panthers. This comes after earlier reports hinted he might already be ruled out, and players tagged as doubtful usually don’t suit up. Still, the team hasn’t made it 100% official. Fantasy managers should prepare for life without Wilson this weekend… and look for a potential boost to the other Jets pass catchers if he’s sidelined.

Kenneth Walker Workload Watch

Interesting comments out of Seattle this week. OC Klint Kubiak said he wants to give Kenneth Walker more opportunities but also made it clear Zach Charbonnet and George Holani aren’t going away. Both Kubiak and head coach Mike Macdonald praised Walker’s progress but also emphasized they have a plan for how they’ll use the RBs. So for fantasy, it sounds more like status quo than a workload spike. Walker remains the lead, but it’s still a committee.

Josh Jacobs’ Status Up in the Air

A late-week addition to the injury report isn’t ideal. Josh Jacobs is listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Cardinals with an illness and a calf issue. He practiced in full Friday, which is a good sign, but the timing of that calf designation is worth watching closely. If he can’t go, Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks are next in line, though neither offers anything close to Jacobs’ role or upside.

Brock Bowers Likely Out

And over in Las Vegas, this one isn’t a shock. Brock Bowers is doubtful to play against the Chiefs in Week 7. He returned to limited practice on Friday, but all signs still point to him sitting this one out.If he somehow suits up, he could flirt with a low-end TE1 finish. But the floor would be shaky, and re-injury risk would be very real. This is likely a spot to pivot.

So keep your eye on the news as we head into NFL Sunday… as promised, in 2 minutes or less.
