đź“° Week 13 Sunday News Drop

Fantasy-relevant stories from this week

Marvin Harrison Jr. expected back

Marvin Harrison Jr. is on track to suit up this weekend after dealing with appendicitis. He only logged limited work in practice, but the team’s clearly past the complication stage and comfortable letting him go. The real question is how ready his conditioning is after missing the last two weeks — especially with Michael Wilson going nuclear while he was out. For fantasy, this makes MHJ a boom-bust WR3, and it definitely muddies the water on what Wilson’s weekly floor looks like now.

Tyler Warren added to the injury report

Tyler Warren was slapped with a late-week questionable tag because of an illness.
He wasn’t dealing with anything earlier in the week, so this popping up today puts his status genuinely up in the air against Houston. If he’s active he’s still a TE1, but you need a backup ready — illnesses are the exact type of thing that can swing morning actives.

Darren Waller activated from IR

The Dolphins just activated Darren Waller after he missed four games with that pectoral injury. He only played four times before going down, but he made every catch count — four touchdowns on just ten grabs. If he’s eased in, that’s understandable, but tight end is a wasteland… and Miami clearly wants to use him near the paint, which always has fantasy value.

Baker Mayfield is expected to go this week after spraining the AC joint in his non-throwing shoulder.
He left early last week, but he took all the first-team reps on Friday and Todd Bowles said he was trending the right direction. This matters because the offense fell apart with Teddy Bridgewater — Baker playing keeps Mike Evans and Chris Godwin afloat for fantasy lineups.

Amon-Ra St. Brown dealing with a low-ankle sprain

Tests confirmed Amon-Ra St. Brown has a low-ankle sprain with no structural damage, and the expectation is a quick return. Rapoport called it a one-to-two-week issue, but St. Brown is already pushing to play, which fits his reputation of grinding through injuries. If he’s active next Thursday, you’re starting him. If the team plays it safe, it’s still the type of injury where you shouldn’t expect a long absence.

Kenneth Walker Cleared for Week 13

Kenneth Walker was officially removed from the injury report and is full-go against Minnesota. He already played through the glute issue last week and clearly handled the lead role, and with Holani out, the backfield is only thinner. This matchup sets up perfectly for Seattle to lean on the ground game, so Walker locking in as an RB2 is huge if you’re fighting for playoff seeding.

Omarion Hampton Ruled Out Again

Omarion Hampton won’t play this week, and he showed up in a non-contact jersey today after not wearing one earlier in the week. Maybe it was precaution, maybe it was a setback, even Harbaugh gave a vague “he looked good” without committing to any return date. For fantasy, this just means Kimani Vidal gets the whole backfield against the Raiders, and he instantly becomes a top-20 play you can trust.

Pat Surtain Returns for Denver

Denver’s getting a big name back on defense… Pat Surtain is officially playing for the first time since Week 8. He’s expected to line up against Terry McLaurin on the perimeter, with both guys returning from injuries at the same time. For fantasy, this matchup suddenly gets a little trickier… McLaurin managers should temper expectations because this is not the corner you want your WR coming back against.

Tre Tucker Good to Go

And Vegas got one of their weapons back…Tre Tucker is good to go after clearing the injury report. He leads the team in targets but still disappears at times because this offense has been a mess, which is probably why they fired Chip Kelly and bumped Greg Olson back into the OC role. If you’re desperate, Tucker stays in that boom-bust FLEX zone… but at least with the coaching change, there’s a chance for a spark.

Some QB drama down in Tampa. Baker Mayfield is questionable, but he practiced fully Friday and the team expects him to play. It’s a left-shoulder AC sprain, not his throwing arm, so the main concern is more about taking hits than actually throwing. If he’s active, he’s still in that borderline QB1/2 mix, but the re-injury risk absolutely caps the ceiling. Plan accordingly if he’s your streamer this week.
