Week 10 Trade-Aways
Here are 5 players that you should be selling ahead of Week 10 … in two minutes or less.
|
RB: Jordan Mason (MIN)
Mason looked like he might carve out a real role in Minnesota, but the Vikings have made it clear they still view Aaron Jones as their lead back. Before Jones’ shoulder injury in Week 9, he was already taking over the touches, and Mason’s 10 carries for 36 yards were another reminder of his limited juice in this offense. Jones’ injury isn’t serious, and with the veteran likely back next week, Mason’s window for relevance could close fast. So if you can sell him now to someone chasing last week’s usage, do it before his role dries up.
WR: Jameson WIlliams (DET)
Williams is the kind of name that gets everyone excited after a big week, saying things like “he’s finally popping off!” Week 9 was one of those weeks. He just turned six targets into 66 yards and a touchdown, flashing that signature sideline burst that makes the highlight shows. But we’ve seen this pattern before: one splash play, then a quiet stretch as the Lions’ offense returns to its balanced, methodical rhythm behind Jared Goff. The role hasn’t actually grown, and Detroit’s upcoming matchups don’t favor volatile deep threats. So if someone in your league believes he’s finally “arrived,” cash out now while his stock is inflated, before the rollercoaster dips again.
WR: D.J. Moore (CHI)
Moore had a nice box score in Week 9 with 72 yards, a rushing score, and even a passing touchdown. But if you look under the hood, nothing has really changed. He’s still seeing targets on only about 15 percent of his routes and hasn’t topped six looks in any game this year while Rome Odunze’s role keeps expanding. Chicago’s offense has shifted toward younger options and more balanced game plans, and Moore’s groin issue continues to limit his explosiveness. So with his name value inflated by one big week and a tough rest-of-season schedule ahead for Bears receivers, this is the moment to sell high before the inconsistency returns.
TE: Mark Andrews (BAL)
You can still market Mark Andrews as a name-brand tight end coming off a Week 9 line with two touchdowns in the Ravens’ 28–6 win over Miami, and that box score is going to pop when people scroll their apps. But underneath the headline, he’s been held to 34 yards or fewer in every game since Week 3, has four different weeks with three or fewer targets, and even in those big Baltimore wins where the offense is dropping 30–40 points, he’s often stuck on a tiny target share while Isaiah Likely racks up more routes and yardage on similar or greater volume. The notes even flag that his Week 9 touchdowns came on a short goal-line leak and a busted play where Miami defenders collided, and with Likely and Lamar finally healthy together, Andrews is being talked about more as a TE2 than a locked-in TE1. So if your league-mates are still paying for the logo on the jersey and that two-score spike week, this is the time to cash him out before the low-volume, TE2-type games keep dragging down your lineup.
QB: Matthew Stafford (LAR)
Matthew Stafford is a great example of a veteran who still gets it done. The guy’s been carving defenses all year with sharp timing and control in Sean McVay’s system. But he’s giving you zero value on the ground, and his fantasy ceiling depends entirely on perfect game scripts and play-action rhythm, things that can swing fast for a pass-heavy team like the Rams. So if you can move him after those back-to-back blowout wins and nine touchdowns in his last two games, this is the window. Cash out while he looks unstoppable and lock in a younger, dual-threat option before the schedule tightens.
So that’s the list. 5 players to unload to your league mates before Week 10 … as promised, in two minutes or less.
