Trey Benson (ARI), 54.8% rostered on ESPN

James Conner went down with an ankle injury in the Week 3 matchup against the 49ers, so it’s finally time for Benson to take the spotlight. He only went for 42 yards on 10 carries while adding 3 receptions for 9 more. But forget about what he did this week, because if Conner can’t go, Benson is automatically in line for starting reps and will get the volume boost to become a legitimate starter in short order.

Tre Tucker (LV), 2% rostered on ESPN

Tre Tucker just went nuclear with eight catches, 145 yards, and three touchdowns in Week 3. But the best part is that it didn’t come out of nowhere. He’s been on the field a ton since Week 1, working as the clear WR2 behind Jakobi Meyers and seeing 20 targets through three games. The Raiders’ are throwing nearly 40 times per game, so Tucker’s big-play ability finally paying off is a sign of more spike weeks ahead. He’s not a fluke, he’s a must-add before everyone else catches on.

Hunter Henry (NE), 49.2% rostered on ESPN

Hunter Henry is flying under the radar in a Patriots offense experiencing some growing pains, but he just reminded everyone why he’s still relevant. Henry hauled in eight of 11 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3, by far the best weapon Drake Maye had in a turnover-filled loss. He already has 22 targets through three games, showing he’s not just a fluke splash play guy, so if you need help at tight end, this is the kind of every-week volume plus touchdown upside that can save your season.

Carson Wentz (MIN), 3.1% rostered on ESPN

This is for the deep leagues. If you’re really in a pinch, Wentz is in line to start at least one or two more weeks as J.J. McCarthy recovers from his injury. He may not be the sexiest name out there, but he’s playing in an offense that has proven to work for game-manager QBs (see Sam Darnold), and he has the weapons to make some good things happen. Take him on a flyer if you need him.

Bhayshul Tuten (JAX), 47.9% rostered on ESPN

Tuten is a smart Week 4 pickup if you’re light at RB: after Jacksonville moved Tank Bigsby, Tuten stepped into the change-of-pace role behind Travis Etienne. He ramped from 3 carries in Week 1 to 8 for 42 plus 2-for-32 and a receiving TD in Week 2, then entered Week 3 without a designation after limited practices and punched in another score on 6 carries, the exact kind of week-to-week role growth we want. But he isn’t a volume play yet, so think of him as a climbing bench RB who’s already earning trust and touchdowns in a clearly defined complement to Etienne. The Jaguars have been competitive (31–27 vs CIN, 17–10 over HOU), so there should be steady opportunities if his usage keeps trending.
