Daniel Jones (IND), 4.9% rostered on ESPN

Jones just showed why he’s one of the better waiver wire stashes after Week 1. He nearly hit 30 fantasy points in his Colts debut, flashing his dual-threat ability with over 270 passing yards and two rushing scores. But it’s not just one hot game. He’s in a Shane Steichen offense with decent protection, and we’ve seen him post a top-10 fantasy season before. So even though Indy’s schedule is on the tougher side for passing, Jones’ rushing upside gives him a steady floor and makes him a strong streaming option if you’re light at quarterback.

Juwan Johnson (NO), 1.2% rostered on ESPN

Johnson went for 76 yards in Week 1 and was the only Saints pass-catcher to really deliver. But it’s the 11 targets that really underscore that he’s going to have a big role in the offense this season. So with the Saints facing the NFL’s easiest passing schedule under Kellen Moore’s uptempo system, Johnson has a clear path to remain a volume option and emerge as one of the better streaming tight ends you can grab right now.

Marquise Brown (KC), 49.1% rostered on ESPN

Hollywood just reminded everyone what happens when opportunity meets volume. Xavier Worthy’s injury led to 16 targets in Week 1. He turned them into 10 catches for 99 yards. But with Rashee Rice suspended and Worthy now sidelined, Brown isn’t just a temporary fill-in, he’s the clear WR1 for Patrick Mahomes in one of the league’s fastest-paced, pass-happy offenses. So if you need wideout help, this is the rare waiver add who can immediately slide into your lineup and give you WR3, even WR2 upside until the Chiefs get their guys back.

Quentin Johnston (LAC), 3.6% rostered on ESPN

Johnston just popped with a 79-yard, 2-TD opener on seven targets, showing signs he may finally be settling in. But while his past inconsistency and a crowded depth chart have capped his ceiling, the Chargers still leaned on him heavily in routes, and this offense has shifted toward a more balanced, Herbert-driven attack. So even if the pace stays slow, his secure role and spike-play ability make him a strong waiver add for fantasy managers looking to get ahead of a potential breakout.

Kayshon Boutte (NE), 1% rostered on ESPN

Boutte looked buried on the depth chart all offseason, but when the season opened he proved hard to ignore, leading the Patriots with 44 routes, 8 targets, 6 catches, and 103 yards in Week 1. New England invested in Stefon Diggs and rookie Kyle Williams, but that WR room is still unsettled, and Boutte has seized every chance while others have disappointed. The Patriots’ offense under Josh McDaniels should run at a faster pace with Drake Maye pushing the ball, so Boutte’s ability to create explosive plays could make him a sneaky early-season add in fantasy.

So it’s never too early to improve your team. Look for these guys on waivers today… As promised, in two minutes or less.
