#5: RB - Michael Carter (ARI)
When James Conner went down in the 3rd quarter of Sunday’s game, it was Carter who took up the slack. He only chipped in for 18 yards on 5 carries, but also showed his receiving prowess with 5 receptions. All Conner owners should be looking to pick up Carter immediately in case Conner can’t go in Week 17.
#4: TE - Chigoziem Okonkwo (TEN)
The tight end position remains as unpredictable as ever, but Okonkowo has shown some solid trends lately. He has 17 receptions for 140 yards over the last 2 games, playing with Mason Rudolph. If your TE slot is shaky in any way, you should consider adding Chig this week.
#3: QB - Bryce Young (CAR)
It may have taken a bit longer than fantasy football players wanted, but Young is officially living up to his talent in recent weeks. His 3 total touchdowns and 0 turnovers against the Cardinals represented his strongest performance of the year, and things seem to be getting better for him on a weekly basis. If you’re playing in the championship you’re probably already set at QB, but keep Young in mind if there’s a need there.
#2: WR - Hollywood Brown (KC)
Brown finally returned to the lineup this weekend and immediately slotted in as a key receiver for Patrick Mahomes. He earned 8 targets, catching 5 for 45 yards. WR has been a weak position for the champs all year, and we all know what Brown is capable of, so he needs to be owned in all formats.
