Part 1:

Week 3 is unlike any slate we have seen so far this season.

Lucky for you, we've done the hard part.

10 DraftKings Locks w/ @allinkid 👇

QB: Jalen Hurts ($7,600 on DraftKings):

How is this guy still under $8,000?

He's been great, and Washington allowed 4 TDs to Goff last week.

What are we worried about here?

Hurts has the rushing upside of Lamar, who is one of our all-time faves.

Philly may have better weapons...

I mean, at least they have running backs.

The studs being back on the main slate probably keeps the price down.

But we'll take it while it's here.

QB: Matt Stafford ($6,500 on DraftKings):

Alright, so there's no rushing upside.

And yeah, it seems LA has a few issues.

But just think about how bad Arizona is getting toasted.

He probably won't throw 5 TDs against them, like Mahomes did back in Week 1.

But would you be shocked?

Think about Kupp, Robinson, and even Higbee. Pick your poison.

A 300 yard, 3 TD game is in play and it's a highly stackable situation.

RB: Leonard Fournette ($6,500 on DraftKings):

We talk Lenny pretty much every week.

We'll do it again at this price.

He's playing the Packers, who have been dismal against the run.

Case and point:

David Montgomery had 15 carries for 122 yards - an average of 8.1 per carry.

Green Bay is allowing 6 YPC overall.

Tampa's injury situation at WR is bad.

The Packers will stack the box, right?

Well…

Sometimes that means just making one guy miss to hit a big play.

The TDs that Lenny tweeted about this week, perhaps?

Speaking of Fournette…

PrizePicks lists him for 17 fantasy points.

I'm confident he scores more than that.

RB: David Montgomery ($5,900 on DraftKings):

We expected to see more of Khalil Herbert eating touches, but it hasn't happened.

It's not bad for this value.

And while we're on Chicago…

If Mooney is going to get going with Fields, this is the week to do it.

Texans have allowed 10 catches of 20+ yards.

Most in the league.

But more importantly, the next RB lock:

RB: Miles Sanders ($5,500 on DraftKings):

We're on board with the Philly offense!

If the Packers have been bad against the run, Washington is worse.

They allow 6.8 YPC. Yuck.

Sanders is also involved in passing game.

Finally feeling good about this guy.

WR: Justin Jefferson ($9,300 on DraftKings):

This game vs. Detroit should be awesome!

The Lions give it up to everyone.

Not worried about Vikings Week 2 bomb.

Cousins is out of prime time, luckily.

And think about how A.J. Brown, Curtis Samuel, and Jahan Dotson fared vs. DET.

Jefferson will be in line for lots of targets.

10 or more is not out of reach at all.

By the way…

Amon-Ra ($7,200) is still a bargain.

Will he get to $8,000 this year?

WR: Russell Gage ($4,700 on DraftKings):

Even if Julio is out there, targets will come.

Gage has the catches, just not the yards.

If he has 5-7 targets, we expect more than 28, right?

Keep an eye on the injury situation here across the board in the TB WR room.

Gage (hamstring) was limited Thursday.

Remember what we said about Green Bay's defense?

Jaire Alexander will be on Perriman or Scotty Miller.

Think of Gage as Tampa's Jakobi Meyers.

Lots of reliable catches.

TE: Tyler Higbee ($4,500 on DraftKings):

The Rams tend to use their third-best talent in the passing game.

That could be a WR or a TE.

So until Van Jefferson returns, Higbee remains a decent play.

We know the Cardinals seem to struggle against TEs, even before this season.

People may pay down for Irv this week.

So we're ok with the mid-range value.

Even though typically we like to pay all the way up... or all the way down at TE.

Higbee's receiving yards on PrizePicks is currently 45.5.

Against the Cards, he could smash it.

TE: Kyle Pitts ($4,800 on DraftKings):

He's broken my heart so far.

Especially in season-long outlooks.

But the problem is evident…

Defenses are treating him as WR1,

And that's pretty much what he is.

Help is on the way, though:

Drake London is starting to get respect.

And once the balance in coverage shifts,

Pitts should eat it up.

Remember the days when Mariota elevated Delanie Walker?

Also, the Seahawks can't really cover well.

We originally thought Pitts would be priced up with David Andrews.

Instead, we get him cheap. For now.

Part 2:

Week 3 is shaping up like an unbelievable tournament slate.

It's time to get weird.

Here's the Top-5 Tournament plays from my conversation w/ @TJHernandez 👇

QB: Tua Tagovailoa ($6,100 on DraftKings):

There was a time when many chased the points after huge performances…

But people have overcorrected for that in DFS, and these guys can actually go low.

Tua could be sub-10% because studs are back on the main slate this week.

The game itself is intriguing. Why?

The two offenses are top-8 in neutral passing rate,

Tyreek Hill has torched the Bills before,

and Tua's confidence is probably soaring.

Remember, he's been called a bust.

His latest performance is a huge boost.

RB: Dalvin Cook ($7,900 on DraftKings):

The Vikings are favored by 6, and have implied points over 30.

Cook is typically near the top in total touches and yards.

We attack the Lions with WRs a lot, BUT…

They are actually 31st in rush EPA per play.

That sets up Dalvin nicely.

With others paying down for Fournette and Montgomery, Cook may thrive.

WR: Terry McLaurin ($6,400 on DraftKings):

No one wants him right now.

He hasn't had the tgt share we're used to.

But he'll get his, and Washington knows they need to get him the ball.

He's the most talented guy there.

He's actually the air yard share leader on the Commanders,

and his ADOT is up to 15.

The spike weeks are coming. Let's catch them early.

A game where people will stack his opponents is a good start.

TE: Zach Ertz ($4,600 on DraftKings):

People were red hot on Ertz early, but the market has cooled off.

He had that limited Week 1 share.

And the most points below expectation.

BUT,

This game total is 4th-highest on the slate.

With people looking at Higbee, Ertz is a decent pivot.

DEF: Titans ($2,800 on DraftKings):

There are a few good plays for under $3K at defense this week.

The Titans aren't as bad as they seem.

They're a home dog ready to bounce back.

We also want to buy defenses going against passing teams.

The Raiders fit the bill.

Tennessee is also top-10 in pressure through Weeks 1-2.

Potential for sacks or turnovers.

The Raiders will be popular this week,

Their defense will be a common pick.

Josh Jacobs may even catch some steam.

With Tennessee, you get leverage against that, as well as a good price point.
