Geno Smith (LV), available in 93.8% of ESPN leagues
Geno Smith is not exciting. And he’s certainly not going to win your league. But he might just win you Week 11. He’s been all over the place this year, but that four-touchdown, 284-yard eruption against Jacksonville showed what it looks like when he’s protected and funneling volume through Brock Bowers as a true difference-maker. He did leave Week 10 with a quad bruise and the remaining QB schedule is no picnic, but he’s expected to be ready for next Monday night in Dallas, and the Cowboys have been letting every quarterback torch them, so you treat Geno as a high-variance rental for that matchup, chase the spike week, and then get out before the schedule tightens back up.
Woody Marks (HOU), available 37.9% of ESPN leagues
If Marks is available, grab him. He just handled 14 carries for 63 yards and a score, added a couple catches, and played the bulk of the snaps in that wild Week 10 comeback over Jacksonville, showing the staff is comfortable leaning on him even when Nick Chubb is still in the mix. But over the last month he’s been flashing big-play juice in the passing game too, ranking near the top of the league in efficiency metrics while the Texans keep grinding out tough, competitive games. So if you need running back help, I’d rather bet on the younger back who’s already earning trust and a real workload than chase what’s left of Chubb, especially with a very beatable Buffalo run defense up next.
Tyler Allgeier (ATL), available in 72.2% of ESPN leagues
If you need RB depth for the stretch run, Tyler Allgeier makes sense. He just punched in two scores on 11 carries against the Colts, but that’s not a random fluke. The Falcons use him in both close games and playing with a lead. They’ve looked sharper lately, trading punches with teams like New England and Indy, so that game script should keep showing up, and that means Allgeier has sneaky standalone value plus handcuff upside behind Bijan.
Parker Washington (JAX), available in 83.1% of ESPN leagues
I told you last week, and none of you listened, but Parker Washington just doubled down on this breakout. After dropping an 8-catch, 90-yard game in that OT win over the Raiders, he followed it up in Week 10 with seven more targets, a receiving score, and even a punt return touchdown while playing more snaps and drawing more looks than any other Jags wideout. This isn’t a fluke gadget role anymore. Trevor Lawrence keeps going back to him because he actually trusts him, even as this offense swings from tight divisional grinds to full-on shootouts. So if you’re hunting for a Week 11 waiver WR who’s already carved out a real, usable role, Washington is the exact kind of bet you want to make before everyone else catches up.
Troy Franklin (DEN), available in 66.3% of ESPN leagues
Franklin started the year mostly running wind sprints, but he’s now clearly entrenched as Denver’s No. 2 receiver and one of Bo Nix’s most frequent reads, regularly staying ahead of Marvin Mims and Evan Engram in the pecking order. But over the last few weeks that trust has finally turned into fantasy juice. He detonated for 89 yards and two touchdowns against Dallas in Week 8, then kept the volume rolling with double-digit or near double-digit targets and a 9-target, 40-yard, game-tying score in Week 10 against the Raiders. So if you’re digging for a Week 11 WR, you’re betting on a young wideout who’s already a full-time starter on a Broncos team living in one-score games and who’s firmly in the FLEX mix heading into this matchup with the Chiefs.
So look for these players on waivers to improve your squad… As promised, in two minutes or less.
