Brandon Aiyuk (SF), ADP 51.3, WR28:

Aiyuk had his first 1,000 yard season in ‘22, catching 78 of his 113 targets for 1,015 yards, and a PPR WR15 finish.

There’s no doubt he knows how to get open:

• 13th in route win rate (47.8%)

• 3rd in target separation (2.31)

And the volume numbers look good:

• 11th in touchdowns (8)

• 11th in snap share (91.1%)

• 16th in air yards share (32.5%)

• 17th in yards after the catch (376)

The fact is, Aiyuk continues to improve every year.

Deebo Samuel seems like a threat to Aiyuk’s, but Aiyuk bested him in fantasy PPG (13.4 vs. 13.0).

(Deebo is being drafted nearly 20 spots earlier, BTW.)

Things have looked good for Aiyuk in workouts too.

With his elite burst off the line, he’s reportedly looked like the best player on the field for the 49ers in summer.

Former WR James Jones recently spoke about Aiyuk and compared him to names like Davante Adams, Calvin Ridley, and Keenan Allen when talking about his film.

From a former pro, that’s no light shakes.

Brock Purdy is in line to start for the 49ers.

He was a competent QB when he stepped in last year, playing good ball down the stretch.

In the last 6 games he had 13 TDs and 4 QB ratings of 100+

Aiyuk will benefit from a little bit of development from Brock.

I think he will beat his PrizePicks prop of 850.5 yards.

It’s a step down from last year, which isn’t happening.

Rondale Moore (ARI), ADP 131.2, WR60:

Moore is still just 23 years old, and is forgotten due to his lost injury time in both 2021 and 2022.

I realize the Cardinals have a lot of offensive questions at the moment. Most importantly around Kyler Murray’s return.

But Moore earned 8 targets per game over his 7 healthy weeks, and had some decent numbers too:

• 22.7% target share

• 1.67 yards per route run

• 278 YAC ranked 28th despite just 7 games played

Moore’s 40-time, agility score, and burst score are all 94th percentile or better, and the athleticism helps him get open:

• 21st in route win rate (45.6%)

• 13th in target separation (2.13)

• 2nd in target separation vs. man

It’s been a while since he put together a healthy season, but it happened when he was a just a Perdue freshman in 2018:

In that monster year he had 114-catches, 1,258 yards, and 12 TDs. It was truly a breakout season.

With DeAndre Hopkins gone, the other Cardinals WRs bump up a spot, slotting Moore in as WR2 on the team.

With this kind of raw skill and a little more luck on the injury front, Moore could turn out to be a huge value at this ADP.

D.J. Chark (CAR), ADP 156.9, WR69:

Yes, the Panthers have a rookie QB, and are in a rebuild.

But Chark looks like easy WR1 on that team working alongside Adam Thielen, who is in his mid-30s and losing efficiency in play.

Chark himself still has elite speed and burst scores:

• 93rd percentile burst score

• 97th percentile speed score

• 97th percentile 40-yard dash

The athletic ability should help him establish himself with Bryce Young, the raw but talented QB draft pick.

Chark shows a lot of potential on the deep ball:

• 4th in ADOT (15.4)

• 10th in yards per target (9.7)

• 7th yards per reception (16.7)

Young may need time to hone his consistency deep, but he has shown flashes in that area.

Just a few weeks ago, Chark praised Young’s anticipation, accuracy, and ability to make it easy on his WRs.

To me, it all means that if you draft Chark as a WR5, you should be pleasantly surprised with the results.
