START: Rico Dowdle (DAL)
Dowdle has been a steady fantasy contributor since Week 9, averaging 15 carries and 4 targets per game with three RB2 finishes in that span. We keep picking on the Panthers for good reason: they allow the most fantasy points per game to opposing RBs. So, Dowdle’s a safe start in Week 15.
SIT: Najee Harris (PIT)
Najee still leads the Steelers in carries, but he’s struggling to produce. The Eagles allow the 7th-fewest rushing yards per game, and Harris ranks outside the top-60 in fantasy points per opportunity. Without passing-game upside, Najee is a fade for the opening week of playoffs.
START: Rhamondre Stevenson (NE)
Stevenson may not be 100%, but he showed life in Week 13 with 4+ yards per carry and 3 receptions. Coming off a bye, he should be fresher against a Cardinals defense allowing the 10th-most fantasy points to RBs. Stevenson is ready to deliver when you need him most.
SIT: D’Andre Swift (CHI)
Swift hasn’t hit 40 rushing yards in three straight games and struggled Sunday against San Francisco. It won’t get easier against the Vikings, who allow the 3rd-fewest fantasy points to RBs. In their last matchup, Swift managed just 30 yards and under 10 PPR points. Look for a better option this week.
START: James Conner (ARI)
The Patriots' run defense is falling apart, and Conner is primed to take advantage. He’s logged 17+ carries and 4 targets in each of his last two games. With volume on his side and a crumbling opponent, Conner is a must-start.
SIT: Rachaad White (TB)
White exploded for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns last week, but it came with Bucky Irving leaving the game early. This week, the Bucs face a stout Chargers defense that locks down opposing RBs. Add in Irving’s potential return and White’s efficiency concerns, and he’s a risky play.
