STUD RB: Kyren Williams (LAR)

It sure looks like that ankle has healed up nicely.

Williams paced the Rams in their easy rout of the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday with over 200 yards from scrimmage and 2 TDs. After the game he told reporters that he was feeling 200% now that heā€™s back on the field.

I often target that Cardinals defense in fantasy football, but Williams is looking like heā€™s primed for a terrific stretch run regardless of the opponent.

DUD RB: Gus Edwards (BAL)

To say that the Ravensā€™ skill players have been a little unpredictable fantasy-wise is an understatement at this point. Edwards had been a RB1 in 4 of his last 5 games and had scored at least 1 TD in every game since Week 7.

This Sunday was a different story. Gus Bus only managed a season-low 26 yards on the ground and failed to find the end zone as teammate Zay Flowers finally broke out with a 2-TD game of his own.

STUD QB: Josh Allen (BUF)

Allen put up heroic numbers in the loss to Philadelphia.

He passed for 339 yards and 2 TDs, while also serving as his teamā€™s leading rusher. He had 81 ground yards and scored twice. The 4 TDs really boosted the fantasy numbers and made him finish as Sundayā€™s QB1.

The one knock on Allen was the pick he threw, but at least for this week no one can pin the Billsā€™ struggles on him.

DUD QB: Brock Purdy (SF)

Brock was a popular QB pick in DFS on the Thanksgiving slate, but he just didnā€™t do enough from a fantasy perspective. He eked out just over 200 yards passing with a TD and an INT.

Yes, his team won 31-13, but the individual volume numbers need to be there for Purdy to satisfy in our fantasy matchups.

STUD WR: Tyreek Hill (MIA)

The Cheetah didnā€™t even have the most receiving yards on his team in the NFLā€™s first-ever Black Friday game, but he found the end zone, and scored over 25 fantasy points against the reeling Jets.

Miami is running away with the AFC East and Hillā€™s speed has a whole lot to do with that. In fact, of all WRs with more than 200 routes on the year, Hill leads the pack with a whopping 36% targets per route run, according to Fantasy Lifeā€™s Utilization Tool. The next guy is Keenan Allen at 28%.

DUD WR: DK Metcalf (SEA)

Geno Smithā€™s 2022 is looking more like an anomaly every week. The Seahawks were punched in the mouth on Thanksgiving night. Even though they showed a bit of spirit, the Seahawksā€™ WRs couldnā€™t get it done. 3 receptions for 32 yards is just not satisfying for a guy whoā€™s supposedly a lot of peopleā€™s WR2.

It doesnā€™t get much easier in Week 13 against the Dallas Cowboys either.

STUD TE: Pat Freiermuth (PIT)

It only took until Week 12, but Big Pat finally had the kind of game I thought he might have more consistently during the offseason. With 9 catches for 120 yards, Freiermuth was Sundayā€™s top TE and helped lead his team to a win against the fading Bengals.

The Steelers are on pace to make the playoffs despite their struggles.

DUD TE: Logan Thomas (WAS)

Another Thanksgiving disappointment.

Thomas had emerged this season as a solid fantasy football tight end, but his team got steamrolled by the Cowboys and he got lost in the shuffle. He put up just 2 receptions for 15 yards.

I guess you have to expect some duds when your team struggles the way the Commanders often do.

#5: WR Jayden Reed (GB)

The Packers donā€™t seem to have just one standout guy at WR, but Reed is the hot hand, and Iā€™d pick him up if you need a wideout to cover the six byes in Week 13. Over the last 2 weeks heā€™s gotten usage in both the pass and rush games, and has 3 straight games with a TD.

The utilization report from Fantasy Life shows some good trends for Reed over the last 2 weeks. He had his 2nd-highest targets per route run in Week 12, along with a 25% market share of the targets on the team.

#4: QB Kenny Pickett (PIT)

With Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Justin Fields all on byes in Week 13, lots of you will need a streamer at the position. Pickett gets the Cardinals next Sunday, followed by the Patriots on the following Thursday night.

Look, I know heā€™s not going to be the sexiest guy to click on among all QBs available, but he threw the ball 33 times for 278 yards on Sunday and kept the ball out of harmā€™s way. With the upcoming matchups and the newly rejuvenated Steeler offense, heā€™s a viable streamer for the first time in a long time.

#3: WR Jalin Hyatt (NYG)

This guy was one of the biggest surprises of the fantasy week.

5 receptions for 109 yards is a solid fantasy day for anyone, and while I donā€™t expect heā€™ll go over the century mark every week, he looked explosive and motivated vs. the Patriots. Not to mention it seems like heā€™s building a nice connection with Tommy DeVito.

You could certainly do worse for WR help if you need it.

#2: WR Tutu Atwell (LAR)

Itā€™s becoming abundantly clear that Cooper Kupp isnā€™t right at the moment. That lagging injury caused his numbers to drop, and he only caught 3 passes for 18 total yards. Thatā€™s not what his fantasy managers expect.

Enter Atwell, who put up consistent WR2 numbers early in the season when Kupp was on IR. He was also the Ramsā€™ leading receiver this weekend, going for 76 yards on just 3 receptions.

As long as Kupp isnā€™t performing, Atwell will remain relevant.

#5: QB Tua Tagovailoa (MIA)

Tua had his lowed fantasy output of the season in Week 12, mustering just 9.8 points in the blowout of the Jets on black Friday. Additionally, his fantasy playoff schedule might scare some people off. Heā€™s got the Cowboys and the Ravens in Weeks 16-17.

However, I think Tuaā€™s proven himself a strong enough asset that the matchups may not be as daunting as they would be for a lesser guy. If the owner is scared of those teams in the playoffs, pulling off a deal at the deadline could work out nicely.

#4: RB Devin Singletary (HOU)

Singletary has clearly taken over the RB1 job for the Texans. Dameon Pierce returned this weekend but only received 6 touches to Singeltaryā€™s 12. Perhaps most encouraging was his usage in the passing game. He had a season-high 7 targets, and caught 6 of them. Those PPR points are difficult to pass up.

Additionally, you could probably swing a favorable deal for Singletary based on name alone. Heā€™s not typically brought up in the ranks of elite fantasy RBs, but with the way heā€™s getting involved on whatā€™s become a pretty good offense, heā€™s worth it.

#3: TE Jake Ferguson (DAL)

Ferguson was disappointing in Week 12. He caught just 1 pass for 35 yards in another blowout win on Thanksgiving Day.

However, Fergusonā€™s usage in the red zone is really what weā€™re chasing here. He has a healthy share of his teamā€™s end zone targets, and is always a threat to score a TD. As the position tends to be so volatile, I feel Ferguson is ready to bounce back and produce.

#2: RB Isiah Pacheco

For being on an offense with Patrick Mahomes and a stable of underwhelming WRs, Pacheco hasnā€™t seen the kind of fantasy success we might expect. Heā€™s got just 4 RB1 finishes to his name so far this year.

However, after finding the end zone twice in Week 12 and catching all 5 of his targets, things may be looking up. And down the stretch the Chiefs play a number of teams in the bottom part of the league in allowing fantasy points to RBs.
