Guys better off on your bench this week
Week 14 Sits
Here are 5 players you should really consider sitting in fantasy this week … in two minutes or less.
|
QB: Caleb Williams (CHI) @ GB
Chicago is winning games, but the way they’re winning is the problem for fantasy.
Recent game scripts push the Bears into a run-heavy shell the second they get a lead
Week 13 showed how shaky his accuracy becomes when conditions get tough (154 yards on 36 attempts)
Green Bay is allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing QBs
So with the Bears likely leaning on their ground game and the Packers squeezing QB production, Williams belongs on the bench.
RB: Bam Knight (ARI) vs. LAR
Knight flashes… then Arizona reminds you this backfield has no stability or ceiling.
His best game of the year now runs straight into a Rams defense allowing the 4th-fewest RB fantasy points
LA has given up just two rushing TDs to running backs all season
Arizona has lost four straight and keeps playing from behind, erasing Knight’s early-down role
So even with the occasional highlight, this matchup makes him an easy sit.
👀 And if you think this matchup is rough… read on for some wideouts who are absolutely unstartable this week.
RB: Woody Marks (HOU) @ KC
Marks is Houston’s best option, but the production swings are wild.
Even in wins, he’s relied on single big plays just to stay afloat
Last week’s 19 carries produced only 64 yards with almost nothing in the passing game
Houston has shifted toward lower-scoring, grind-it-out football
So walking him into a Chiefs front that consistently delivers bottom-six RB fantasy production puts his Week 14 ceiling in real danger.
WR: Darnell Mooney (ATL) vs. SEA
London’s likely absence looks like an opportunity, but the matchup makes it a mirage.
Mooney’s coming off a 2-catch, 5-target game where Pitts stole the meaningful volume
Atlanta just dropped a messy Week 13 showing with zero passing rhythm
Seattle allows the 8th-fewest fantasy points to opposing WRs
So even with the perceived role bump, this is not the week to trust him. Don’t bite.
WR: Terry McLaurin (WAS) @ MIN
Last week was fun, but it was fueled entirely by desperation volume.
Washington funneled him 14 targets because they were chasing the entire second half
Minnesota has been quietly limiting wideouts all season
McLaurin’s week-to-week usage collapses whenever the Commanders aren’t in chaos mode
So that’s the list. The players you shouldn’t rely on in Week 14… as promised, in 2 minutes or less.
And by the way, if you're ready to actually win your league or even if you want to prepare for next year… The Fantasy Accelerator is my year-round fantasy system designed to help sharp players crush waivers, win more trades, and stack championships.
See you tomorrow,
