Geno Smith Cleared to Play
Big update out of Vegas for Week 14… Geno Smith is good to go after getting lifted off the injury report with that foot issue. He practiced fully Thursday and Friday, which tells us he’s healthy enough, but the matchup is still rough and he hasn’t exactly been mistake-free this year.
For fantasy, he’s still not a one-QB starterf, but if you’re desperate in a superflex, the only silver lining is Denver has actually bled production to tight ends, so maybe he leans on Brock Bowers.
CeeDee Lamb Making Progress
Good news for Cowboys fans after losing CeeDee on Thursday…Brian Schottenheimer said Lamb “had a good day” on Friday as he works through concussion protocol. He still hasn’t been fully cleared, and players usually sit at least one game, but the extra rest coming off Thursday Night Football gives him a real shot for Week 15.
If you roster him, this is your reminder that his availability changes the entire Dallas offense, so stay flexible heading into next week.
Rome Odunze Shut Down for Rest
Rough update for the Bears today… Rome Odunze is now week-to-week and needs rest after playing through a stress fracture in his foot. Before this news, he’d already been listed with heel and ankle problems for weeks, and it sounds like they might all be tied together. The belief is it’s not long-term, but the Bears are prioritizing playoff health as the 9-3 NFC leaders.
For fantasy, this puts a real cloud over Weeks 14–16, especially with tough matchups baked into that stretch. So don’t assume he’s back immediately.
Maxx Crosby Trending Toward Playing
Pete Carroll says Maxx Crosby is expected to play, even though he hasn’t practiced the last two days and will probably carry a questionable tag. He’s easily the most impactful defender the Raiders have, so his status matters way more than a normal injury tag would.
If he did sit, it would be a major boost to Denver’s offense, but as of now, plan like he’s in.
Kyren Williams Set for Week 14
Great news if you need running back help… Kyren Williams was officially cleared and will play against Arizona. He started the week limited but finished with a full practice, and he’ll keep working in a split with Blake Corum. Even so, the matchup and game environment keep him firmly in that RB1/2 range.
If you’re starting him, you’re feeling pretty good. Arizona has been a plus spot for fantasy backs all year.
Parker Washington a True Game-Time Call
Parker Washington is questionable with a hip injury after limited practices on Thursday and Friday. He barely produced before exiting last week (1 catch for 26 yards) and hasn’t topped 40 yards in most recent games. With Strange healthy and Jakobi Meyers back, he’s fallen out of the rotation. Too bad too, he was looking like Trevor’s favorite guy for a while.
So even if he suits up, he shouldn’t affect your FLEX decisions… you likely have better options.
Jayden Reed on the Wrong Side of Questionable
And finally… Jayden Reed is questionable with foot and shoulder issues after three limited practices. LaFleur said he’s still “going through the process” of getting full medical clearance, which isn’t the tone you want to hear the day before a game.
If Reed sits, it opens the door for more volume for Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs… so keep an eye on inactives.
So that’s the news. Keep your eyes open as we head into NFL Sunday… as promised, in 2 minutes or less.
