1. Van Jefferson (LAR) ADP 138.3, WR64:

Many believe the Rams are pass-heavy.

However...

They finished No.14 in pass play % in '21.

So Jefferson runs a ton of routes, but Stafford clearly doesn't trust him.

Consider this:

Jefferson now has more competition in '22.

The Rams signed ex-Bear, Allen Robinson, to be their WR2.

He has three 1,000+ yard seasons on his resume.

They could also bring Odell Beckham back.

Volume is king in fantasy football, and Van is a tough sell even at this deep ADP.

2. DK Metcalf (SEA) ADP 43.4, WR17:

Bye-bye Russell Wilson.

Metcalf owners will miss you.

Welcome to some combo of Drew Lock and Geno Smith.

Woof.

Despite a 28% target rate (tgt per route):

No.12 in the NFL by the way...

Some of Metcalf's advanced stats are worrying me with the QB change.

In particular:

• Target separation (93rd)

This is fine with the uber-accurate Wilson...

But do you trust Lock/Smith to hit that small of a window?

What about this:

True catch rate (receptions/catchable tgts)

• DK (85th)

• Lockett (6th)

Steer clear of Metcalf at this ADP, and we will revisit closer to the season.

3. Brandin Cooks (HOU) ADP 64.4, WR26:

Quietly had the most receptions of his career last year (90).

He's been super consistent, other than one bad year in 2019.

But he doesn't score enough TDs.

Just 19 over the last 4 seasons (61 games)

Does anyone trust Davis Mills?

The advanced stats trend towards bust:

• target accuracy from QB (59th)

• catchable target rate (77th)

• target quality rating (64th)

Cooks will get open. Mills is just wildly erratic with his passing.

The quality of targets/volume still matters.
