📉 Players to Trade Away
Grab some value for them before Week 5
Week 5 Trade-Aways
Here are 5 players that you should be selling ahead of Week 5 … in two minutes or less.
|
RB: D’Andre Swift (CHI)
D’Andre Swift has looked like the lead back in Chicago, but his production tells a different story. He’s averaging just 3.5 yards per carry, and nearly a third of his yardage is coming through the air. That keeps him afloat in fantasy, but it also highlights how dependent he is on the passing game for value. Roschon Johnson is looming as the power option in this backfield, and even rookie Kyle Monangai is carving out touches. So while Swift just found the end zone again in Week 4, the inconsistency and inefficiency make this the perfect window to sell before his role starts to slip.
RB: Alvin Kamara (NO)
Kamara is still a big name, but this is the kind of week where you should be moving off him. He just logged 70 yards on the ground against Buffalo, but Kendre Miller matched him with 65 of his own and is starting to close the gap. Kamara is 30, piling up touches on a struggling offense that has dropped four straight, and while the volume has been there, the risk of injury and decline is real. He can still pop for weeks, but with Miller eating into his role and the Saints in a rebuild, you don’t want to be holding the bag when that floor falls out.
WR: Marvin Harrison Jr. (ARI)
Marvin Harrison Jr. finally found the end zone this week, but the rest of his day showed why he’s such a volatile hold. He can flash on a single highlight play, but his overall usage still looks clunky in Arizona’s offense, with an inefficient per-route profile and a poor fit alongside Kyler Murray. The Cardinals have already stumbled to back-to-back close losses, and their offensive line remains shaky on the right side, so the window is open to sell high on his name value before the inconsistency catches up to your lineup.
WR: Khalil Shakir (BUF)
Shakir is coming off two straight games with touchdowns, including a highlight 43-yard score where he broke multiple tackles. But his production is highly dependent on schemed touches underneath, not consistent WR1 usage. The Bills’ offense is spreading targets around and operating at a slow pace, so Shakir’s volume just won’t ever be “lights out.” He looks like a sell while his box scores are peaking, because the volatility of Buffalo’s passing game is more likely to frustrate you than carry your team week after week.
TE: Mark Andrews (BAL)
Andrews is still commanding looks in this offense, but his production has been empty. Seven catches last week went for just 30 yards, with his longest gain only seven. He’s blocking more than ever and the Ravens continue to spread the ball around, so his ability to make splash plays is slipping away, and when Isaiah Likely’s usage ramps back up, his opportunities will only shrink further.
So that’s the list. 5 players to pitch a deal for in the Week 4 trade market… as promised, in two minutes or less.
