Week 4 Starts
Here are 5 guys with the best fantasy matchups this week and why they need to start … in two minutes or less.
|
QB: Jordan Love (GB) @ DAL
Jordan Love hasn’t cleared 200 passing yards in two of three games, but he still owns a sharp 5:1 TD-to-INT ratio, so the efficiency is there. And while Green Bay’s offense has had its issues, the matchup couldn’t be better: Dallas has allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks through three weeks, including seven passing touchdowns in the last two games. Love doesn’t need gaudy yardage to cash in here, but the Cowboys’ shaky secondary and fast-paced offense create the perfect script for him to find multiple scoring chances. So you can feel confident sliding Love into your Week 4 lineup.
RB: Breece Hall (NYJ) @ MIA
Breece hasn’t scored yet, but he’s still controlling the Jets’ backfield with a clear edge in touches and passing-game involvement. So while the box scores have looked flat the last two weeks, he’s still the second option in team targets and owns the red zone work. That usage meets a Miami defense that has already been gashed for chunk gains and just gave up over 100 yards and a score to James Cook. Hall’s volume and matchup align this week, so he’s a confident start in Week 4.
RB: Nick Chubb (HOU) vs. TEN
Chubb’s been steady, if not explosive, logging double-digit touches every week and even finding the end zone in Week 2. The Texans’ offensive line has been shaky, but Chubb still led the backfield in carries last week, while the rookie Woody Marks continues to trail him. The Titans’ defense is solid up front, but they just gave up 45 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries to Tony Pollard. So even if efficiency isn’t perfect, Chubb’s role as Houston’s lead back gives him volume and scoring chances worth starting in Week 4.
WR: Matthew Golden (GB) @ DAL
Golden is coming off his first real flash as a pro, posting a team-high 52 receiving yards in Week 3 while also showing versatility with multiple rush attempts. He hasn’t been consistent yet, but the Packers’ injuries have forced him into a bigger role, giving him real volume upside moving forward. And the timing couldn’t be better, because he now draws a Cowboys defense that has already surrendered 7 passing touchdowns in their last two games and ranks among the worst against opposing QBs. That combination of expanding opportunity and a leaky secondary makes Golden a sharp start in Week 4.
TE: Hunter Henry (NE) vs. CAR
Henry is coming off a monster game where he caught eight passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns, but that wasn’t a fluke. He’s sitting on 22 targets through three weeks and is clearly Drake Maye’s most trusted option. The matchup is even better this week, because Carolina has quietly been one of the softest defenses against tight ends, giving up the 8th-most fantasy points to the position. So while New England’s wideouts rotate and the backfield coughs up the ball, Henry’s role stays steady, making him a locked-in fantasy start for Week 4.
So that’s the list. 5 players to put into lineups if you have them on your roster… as promised, in 2 minutes or less.
