Here are 5 guys with the best fantasy matchups this week and why they need to start … in two minutes or less.

QB: Justin Herbert (LAC) @ MIA

Herbert should be back in fantasy lineups this week… and confidently. He’s coming off a rough three-game stretch where pass protection collapsed without his left tackle, but he still found ways to produce, including a season-high 60 rushing yards last week. The Chargers offense has been inconsistent lately, so facing a Miami defense that’s given up the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks is exactly the spot for a rebound. Expect Herbert to take advantage of clean pockets and push the ball downfield again. This matchup lines up perfectly for a bounce-back fantasy performance.

RB: Rico Dowdle (CAR) vs. DAL

Dowdle exploded in Week 5, turning 23 carries into 206 yards and a touchdown, completely taking over Carolina’s backfield with Chuba Hubbard sidelined. But this wasn’t a fluke; he ripped off multiple chunk runs against Miami’s front, showing burst and balance that will earn him another full workload. So when that same player now faces his former team, a Cowboys defense that’s been wildly inconsistent and has already allowed 40+ points twice in the last three weeks, he’s a confident fantasy start. Dowdle’s volume, momentum, and revenge narrative all line up for another big day, especially if Chuba is still out.

RB: Travis Etienne (JAX) vs. SEA

ETN’s Week 6 setup screams bounce-back. He hit a season-low in carries last week, but that was against Kansas City’s elite front. So this matchup is a reset. Seattle may look tough overall, but they’ve quietly been bottom-10 versus running backs in fantasy, giving Etienne a chance to reclaim the explosive rhythm he showed in Week 4 when he ripped the 49ers for 124 yards and a score. So even after a down game, the workload, matchup, and home-field momentum line up for him to be right back in fantasy lineups this week.

WR: Davante Adams (LAR) @ BAL

Adams might not be the alpha he once was now that he’s playing next to Puka, but he’s still commanding volume and proving he can deliver when it matters. He’s seen at least eight targets in three of five games and just turned 11 looks into 88 yards last week. That was his second-best line of the season. The Rams’ passing attack has been clicking despite recent close games, so with the Ravens’ defense reeling from injuries and fresh off allowing 44 points to Houston, this sets up as a perfect get-right spot for Stafford and Adams to connect often. Start him confidently as a high-floor WR2 with WR1 upside in Week 6.

WR: A.J. Brown (PHI) @ NYG

A.J. Brown has been relatively quiet this year (on the field at least), but that silence looks ready to break. He’s still commanding elite usage, leading all receivers in first-read target share. It just hasn’t shown due to the run-heavy nature of the Eagles. The frustration we’ve seen from him and DeVonta Smith isn’t about effort, it’s about opportunity, and Week 6 brings exactly that against a Giants defense that’s allowed the third-most fantasy points and second-most yards to opposing wideouts. So with volume already there and a defense that’s bleeding production on the perimeter, this sets up as the week Brown finally cashes in on all that usage.

So that’s the list. 5 players to put into lineups if you have them on your roster… as promised, in 2 minutes or less.
