SIT: Brian Robinson Jr. (WAS)
If Robinson is inactive again, the decision will be made for you. But, tread lightly regardless. Heās had a couple of games this season with low yards per carry numbers, and the Steelers are one of the stronger defenses in the game. If you have another option available, lean toward that one to play it safe.
START: Tyrone Tracy Jr. (NYG)
I hate to pick on the Panthers every week, but they always give it up to running backs for a number of reasons. Even in their win over New Orleans last weekend, they allowed Alvin Kamara to rack up 215 scrummage yards. Tracy is taking over the Giantsā backfield. He got more than twice as many carries as Devin Singletary last game. Donāt overthink it. Attack Carolina.
SIT: Rico Dowdle (DAL)
It might be best not to chase the points from Dowdleās nice week. This time he gets the Eagles, who are allowing the 9th-fewest rushing yards and the 3rd fewest fantasy points per game to RBs. Also consider Dallas will likely face a rough game script for rushing.
START: Aaron Jones (MIN)
This may come off as an easy one, but Jones gets the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend. Theyāre as bad as anyone against RBs, allowing almost 28 points per game to the position. The Jags also allow the 2nd-most RB receptions per game, behind only Buffalo. So, he should see even more targets than last weekās 4.
SIT: Tony Pollard (TEN)
The Chargers are one of the best teams in the league at limiting running backs in fantasy football. Just thank Pollard for the big game against New England and give him a breather in this one.
SIT: Marvin Harrison Jr. (ARI)
Harrison has 5 weeks worth of fantasy scores outside of the top 50. Each of those weeks he has faced a team in the top half of the league in passing defense. The Jets rank 2nd. So, consider the pine for junior.
START: DeAndre Hopkins (KC)
After a terrific Monday Night performance, it looks like Hopkins has slid right into the number 1 WR spot on the Chiefs. Eight receptions for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns is too good to ignore. As he gets more comfortable with Mahomes, things could look very good for DHop as the season goes on.
SIT: D.J. Moore (CHI)
Itās been 3 straight weeks of duds for Moore and Caleb Williams. The Patriotsā bright spot on defense is sophomore cornerback Christian Gonzalez, who has shadowed opposing WR1s all season. So, I donāt see Mooreās slump breaking this weekend.
START: Brian Thomas Jr. (JAX)
Itās a start week for Thomas, as he goes up against the Jaguars, who have just fallen apart in pass defense this year. They allow the 3rd-most fantasy points per game to the position. Thomas is a top-10 receiver in terms of yards, yards after the catch, and touchdowns. So, this is a good week to fire him up.
SIT: Ladd McConkey (LAC)
The Titans have a strong defense against the pass, allowing the 2nd-fewest fantasy points per game. Theyāre also in the top-3rd of the league in limiting receivers playing out of the slot, where McConkey does a lot of his work.
