RUNNING BACK MVP: Dalvin Cook (MIN):

Minnesota may be Jefferson's world,

But Cook is still the Viking workhorse.

I'm not worried about his RB9 finish in FPPG (15.9) after 2 seasons of being RB2.

Here's why:

Main reason was bad TD luck.

Only scored 6 last season, despite 47 RZ touches. Expect those scores back.

And some PlayerProfiler stats still point to elite production...

• 11.7% target share (13th)

• 21 breakaway runs (2nd)

• 8.4% breakaway run rate (4th)

• 20.9% stacked front carry rate (7th)

Some worry about O'Connell's use of multiple backs in LA.

Will that hurt Cook?

I don't think so.

Mattison only got 3.7 carries per game when he played with Cook.

Overuse was a factor in his missing games.

If he can stay fresh, that's a huge win for the Vikings, and your fantasy team.

Draft with confidence.

WIDE RECEIVER MVP: Stefon Diggs (BUF):

Let's start with the big picture.

The Bills offense is good.

Like, scary good.

This is a team that went 3 out of 4 games WITHOUT A PUNT in December-January.

Including a playoff game!

Diggs is easily their most reliable downfield target. Consider...

(Per PlayerProfiler):

• 2nd in air yards (1828)

• 7th in deep targets (28)

• 2nd in red zone targets (34)

• 2nd in total route wins (267)

16.8 PPG (11th) was a downgrade from his crazy '20 season (20.5), but...

Fantasy QB1 Josh Allen recently said he's working on improving his game!

(@JoshAlper ProFootballTalk)

Like I said, scary.

Considering he bested that last year, I feel it's well within reach.

QUARTERBACK MVP: Jalen Hurts (PHI):

I don't have to remind you about those sweet, sweet rushing stats.

But I will anyway.

Per PlayerProfiler:

• 2nd in yards per game (52.1)

• 2nd in carries per game (9.3)

• 1st in RZ carries per game (2.1)

And 10 rushing TDs was best of all QBs.

But passing upside is there too:

• 35 Money Throws (7th)

• 9.0 Air yards per attempt (3rd)

• 6.4 deep ball accuracy rating (10th)

It all adds up to the most points per drop back in the league (0.7).

Hurts was a top-12 QB in 85% of games. (@AndrewErickson_ FantasyPros)

Now A.J. Brown is in Philly.

Ride this guy to the moon.

TIGHT END MVP: Kyle Pitts (ATL):

I'd be even more bullish if Ridley was here to take the pressure off...

But the solo numbers are eye-popping:

Per PlayerProfiler:

• 7th in yac (328)

• 2nd in ADOT (10.1)

• 2nd in air yards (1110)

• 3rd in deep targets (12)

• 4th in yards per route (2.20)

• 1st in yards per reception (15.1)

The list goes on.

And oh yeah...

He scored only 1 TD on 15 RZ targets!

That's a positive regression candidate if I've ever seen one.

Atlanta fans might be worried about Mariota, but Pitts owners shouldn't be.

Consider his TE history:

With Mariota, Delanie Walker had seasons as TE2, TE5, and TE4.

He averaged 13.2 PPR points per game.

In ‘21, that would have been good for TE5 (@fantasy_guides)

We know Pitts has higher upside.

He's going to win leagues in '22.
