Latest player news from the league š

Nico Collins (HOU), ADP 124.7, WR58:
At 6ā4ā and 215 pounds, Collins can outmuscle defenders for contested catches ā and he showed it.
He was 4th in true catch rate (112.1%) and 2nd in contested catch rate (66.7%) in ā22.
From Weeks 10-13, his best stretch, he earned 9 targets per game and had 2 finishes inside the top-25.
Now that Brandin Cooks is gone, he has a real shot to take over the no. 1 role. The other WRs on the roster are an aging Robert Woods and a few guys who have yet to establish themselves.
Perhaps the most promising thing is the way heās already built a rapport with C.J. Stroud, who will bring his accuracy, arm strength, and mechanics to Houston.
Stroud looked Collinsās way often during spring workouts, with multiple reporters calling him the favorite target.
And while the Texans project to improve from 3-13-1 record, theyāll still trail. It bodes well for passing game usage.
In summary, I think Collins has a shot to DESTROY this ADP and provide valuable fantasy production for your team.
C.J. Stroud is already up on PrizePicks.
They have him for 20.5 passing TDs.
Itās a little steep for me considering Texans QBs combined for just 20 passing TDs last season. Iām going with the UNDER, although I think he can hit the yardage prop.
Jayden Reed (GB), ADP 168.5, WR73:
If you like young players with versatility, lots of college reps, and a promising situation, Reed is your guy.
First, check out his best year at Michigan State, in 2021:
⢠59 catches
⢠26.3% target share
⢠1,026 yards and 10 TDs
That year he had a respectable 2.61 yards per route run and added over 600 special teams yards in a breakout.
The Packersā WR room isnāt exactly bustling with talent. Christian Watson should be the no. 1 guy, but after that?
The team lost Allen Lazard, Robert Tonyan, Randall Cobb, and Sammy Watkins, who represented 239 targets.
Romeo Doubs didnāt exactly go nuts last year, producing just 425 yards over 13 games, with only 9 RZ targets, and the 77th-ranked ADOT.
Plus, Doubs plays more of the outside receiver role most often, while Reed has played all over the field and has the acumen to burst off the line from the slot position.
It all adds up to a very real possibility that he could become Jordan Loveās WR2.
At this late of a draft position, I think itās a no brainer to target him, especially at the expense of Doubs.

Zay Jones (JAX), ADP 121.1, WR56:
By all accounts, Jones had a fairly successful year in ā22, as overall WR26 and 31st in points per game, and the Jaguars offense looks to be on the rise.
Iāve been vocal about Calvin Ridley returning to form, and heāll surely command a large target share, but Jones has some good things going for him:
⢠12th in RZ targets (16)
⢠17th in total receptions (82)
⢠14th in target separation (2.12)
⢠25th in yards after the catch (305)
⢠4 weeks as a WR1 (top 12) and another as a WR2 (top 24)
So thereās no lack of talent among the Duval wideouts.
Doug Pederson is entering his 2nd year with the squad and heās been nothing but good news for Trevor Lawrence.
The team was 12th over the season in pass play percentage, and Lawrenceās numbers skyrocketed as the season went on:
After Week 10, his yards per game went up by almost 25 and his fantasy points per game went up by 3.1.
There should be plenty of opportunity to go around in the panhandle, and Jones will see enough looks to contribute.
Take a chance at this price and grab a piece of the Jags.
