#5: WR - Tyreek Hill (MIA)
The long nightmare that has plagued the Miami Dolphins offense is likely to come to an end this week, as Tua Tagovailoa is set to return to practiceāand possibly playā in Week 8. Hill has been downright bad without Tua, but weāve all seen what these two are capable of when theyāre on the field together. Better days are ahead for the Cheetah.
#4: WR - George Pickens (PIT)
You canāt always buy low. Pickens is coming off his best fantasy game of the season Sunday night against the Jets. He averaged 22.2 yards per reception on his way to 111 yards and a touchdown. The reason is simple: Russell Wilson was able to take charge and stabilize the Steelersā offensive attack better than Justin Fields has been able to. Going forward, I expect the boost to continue.
#3: RB - Alexander Mattison (LV)
You wonāt get big points from him every week, but Mattison has clearly surpassed Zamir White and is handling the majority of the touches out of the Raidersā backfield. Heās now been a high-end RB2 in two straight games. It looks like the roles have clearly shifted in Las Vegas, and Mattison should be a viable starter going forward.
#2: WR - Chris Olave (NO)
Olave has not returned the value on his fantasy draft position thus far in 2024. Heās WR55 in points per game, and has a paltry 17% target share. But, with Rashid Shaheed out for the year and the impending return of Derek Carr, Olaveās usage should return to itās old consistency and predictability. Carr supported Olaveās best stretch from Weeks 2-4 and will need to rely on him again to get the passing offense back on track.
#5: WR - Jerry Jeudy (CLE)
While David Njoku and Cedric Tillman amassed 18 catches on 26 combined targets, Jeudy finished Sundayās game with just 1 catch on 5 targets. Thatās not a good sign when trying to figure out how the opportunities will sort themselves out in the wake of the Amari Cooper trade. Jeudy has spent his career as a poster child for untapped potential. That might be all he is at this point.
#4: RB - Jordan Mason (SF)
The end is near for Mason. Christian McCaffrey is aiming for a return after the teamās bye in early November. So, thereās really no upside for CMC owners to keep him around. Find a buyer who needs immediate help at the position and add some value to your roster while you still can.
#3: RB- Braelon Allen (NYJ)
As recently as two weeks ago, Allen was consistently siphoning touches away from Breece Hall. Since the Saleh firing, itās been a different story. Allen only has 5 carries and 3 targets. The truth is, heās droppable, but you can view him as a back-end handcuff in case of any emergency with Breece.
#2: RB - Javonte Williams (DEN)
Williams had a terrific game against the Saints, scampering for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns. It was the performance his managers have been waiting for. But, use it as an opportunity to sell high. Javonte still ranks outside the top 35 in yards per touch, explosive rating, and juke rate. Plus, heās a career boom-or-bust fantasy player. Flip him while his stock is high.
