The Top-5 ceilings outside of Ja'Marr Chase
Top-5 WR1 Candidates
Today I’m talking 5 players who could overtake Ja’Marr Chase as the WR1 this season… in two minutes or less.

5. Amon-Ra St. Brown (DET), ADP 10, WR6
Amon-Ra caught 9 of his 12 touchdowns inside the red zone, and his 32 red zone targets ranked 2nd among all wideouts. But he saw his targets per game drop by 2 last year as Jameson Williams carved out a deeper role. That’s fine. Detroit faces the 3rd-easiest passing schedule, adding explosive ceiling to the Detroit pass-catchers.
So Amon-Ra’s 27% target share and 3 straight 100+ catch seasons still make him one of the safest WR1 picks on the board… with another shot to finish as the top guy.
4. Puka Nacua (LAR), ADP 8.6, WR4
Puka led the entire NFL in target rate, yards per route run, and fantasy points per route. Impressively, he sill cleared 1,500 yards in just 11 games. Davante Adams is now in town to replace Cooper Kupp. He commands volume and respect, but overall I think he draws more of the defensive coverage than Kupp could do at this point.
So the room might look crowded, but Puka’s 41% target share when on the field was the highest in the NFL in 10 years! And as the WR1 in this offense, he’s got as good a chance as anyone to finish 1st.
3. Justin Jefferson (MIN), ADP 4.4, WR2
Jefferson has averaged a Top-6 finish every year he’s played a full season — and just put up 1,533 yards and 10 touchdows with Sam Darnold. J.J. McCarthy is still unproven, and QB uncertainty is the only thing stopping him from going 1.01. But, Jefferson has praised McCarthy’s big arm at every turn.
So there’s no reason to overthink this if you're betting on talent. Jefferson is the guy who leads the NFL in yards per game, and is still one of the best receivers in football.
2. Drake London (ATL), ADP 19.4, WR10
Drake London saw a massive 42% red zone target share and finished 3rd in total targets last season. But with just one 100-yard game under Cousins, most of his breakout came with Michael Penix — who only started 3 games. Atlanta is also ranked as one of the best fantasy environments, due to their division, indoor stadium, and young explosive playmakers.
So if Penix actually delivers, London’s WR6 finish last year could be his floor… he’s the biggest WR1 sleeper in drafts.
So that’s it. 5 WRs who can dominate on the field AND in your fantasy box score.
As promised, in two minutes or less.
Over 12,000 players used this to prep last season. My 2025 Draft Kit is open now, but only a few dozen spots are available this year. I’m keeping it limited so I can give members my full attention.
See you tomorrow,
