Week 4 Trades
Here are 4 players that look like great buys going into Week 4 … in two minutes or less.
|
RB: Trey Benson (ARI)
Trey Benson finally got his chance after James Conner’s ankle injury, and he looked the part, turning 13 touches into 51 total yards against the 49ers. But now James Conner is out for the year, so Benson steps into a true starting role with no real threat to his carries in sight. The Cardinals have the NFL’s 6th-easiest rushing schedule the rest of the way, and their run game is built for downhill volume. It’s likely that if Benson is owned in your league, his manager has him stashed as a backup. So this is your chance to buy a potential workhorse at backup prices before your league mates catch on.
WR: Stefon Diggs (NE)
Diggs hasn’t topped 60 yards yet and just saw a season-low three targets, but he still looks like the most talented receiver in Josh McDaniels’ offense, which is finally starting to play faster. Yes, Drake Maye’s crew turned the ball over five times last week, killing drives, so this is your buy window before Maye and Diggs click and the production stabilizes. He’s running as the possession anchor in that rope, and that value is rare to trade for at a discount.
WR: Chris Olave (NO)
Olave leads the NFL in targets through three games, but he’s still sitting outside the top-20 WRs because he hasn’t found the end zone yet. He’s commanded double-digit looks every week and just caught 10 balls in Week 3 despite the Saints getting blown out. Kellen Moore likes his pace, and the Saints’ have one of the NFL’s easiest passing schedules. That means that volume is going to turn into points sooner rather than later. So this is the perfect buy-low window before the touchdowns and big games start hitting.
TE: Tucker Kraft (GB)
Tucker Kraft just had a quiet Week 3 with only 29 yards on four targets. But that came in a game where the entire Packers offense got smothered by Cleveland’s pass rush and couldn’t get in rhythm. He still led the tight end room in routes and is coming off a 6-124-1 explosion the week before, so he’s playing like a true top-tier TE in usage and efficiency. Jayden Reed is out until November, so Kraft is positioned to keep commanding a strong role and could see a volume bump in an offense that should pass more when healthy. This is the perfect buy-low spot before he bounces back in Week 4.
QB: Caleb Williams (CHI)
Caleb Williams started the year looking like a work-in-progress, but in Week 3 he finally put it all together, carving up Dallas for 298 yards, four touchdowns, and zero turnovers. He’s looked sharper every week under Ben Johnson, and Chicago’s upgraded O-line is giving him time to hit explosive plays downfield. So if your league mates still see him as a question mark, now’s your chance to buy before he shows everyone he can be a top-10 fantasy QB.
So that’s the list. 5 players to pitch a deal for in the Week 4 trade market… as promised, in two minutes or less.
