#5: RB - Najee Harris (PIT)

While Harris’s efficiency has never been a strong point (he ranks 45th in true yards per carry), his volume gives him a solid floor. He’s currently near the top of the league in carries, he’s got 84 receiving yards on 10 receptions, and his teammates are dealing with injuries, keeping his opportunity share free from threats. He’s not a guy who gets into the end zone much, but with the work he’s going to get on a well-run team means those scores are coming. Grab him from his frustrated manager.

#4: RB - Jerome Ford (CLE)

Cleveland’s offense may be stuck in neutral, only averaging 16.3 points per game, but Ford is showing that he can sustain solid fantasy output. He has double-digit carries in 3 of 4 games this season, and he’s 2nd in the NFL in both targets (20) and receptions (17). As such, Ford can provide some solid production, and as he maintains a workhorse level of touches, he’ll be worth the target.

#3: WR - Tee Higgins (CIN)

The Bengals may be waking up from their slow start. They’ve now scored over 30 points for 2 straight games, with Joe Burrow tossing 5 TDs in that span. Higgins is likely sitting on someone’s bench after missing the first 2 games, and turning in a dud of a performance in Week 3. Sunday was encouraging. Higgins caught 6 balls on 10 targets for 60 yards. But, he’s still working his way back to health. So, it’s only a matter of time before he gets back to his usual fantasy level.

#2: WR - Xavier Worthy (KC)

Worthy may have caught a long touchdown from Mahomes, but this is more about what happens in the wake of Rashee Rice’s season-ending injury. The next receivers up aside from Worthy and Travis Kelce are Justin Watson, Mecole Hardman, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Skyy Moore. I think rather than delve into that logjam, I’m predicting Worthy’s role is the one that grows the most.
