3 FREE PICKS today (see below)

1. Javonte Williams (DEN), ADP 26.7, RB14:

Melvin Gordon exists, but it's priced in.

Russell Wilson's arrival should boost the passing game (and entire offense).

Williams and Gordon are spooky similar rushers (on paper in 2021):

• Total Yards: 919 vs. 903

• True Yards Per Carry: both at 4.2

• Juke Rate: 9th vs. 8th

• Evaded Tackles: 7th vs. 6th

But Williams shines...

Is as a receiver:

• Williams: 43 receptions (13th), 81.1% catch rate

• Gordon: 28 receptions (41st), 71.8% catch rate

Wilson helps the efficiency of both.

However…

Williams is a rising young player.

He has a higher ceiling than Gordon at this point.

2. Travis Etienne (JAX), ADP 49.7, RB19:

Reports are he’s running drills and will be ready for camp.

James Robinson’s progress is murkier.

This should give Etienne a leg up to earn first-team reps.

Consider Etienne’s numbers for Clemson in 2020:

• 5.4 yards per carry

• 48 catches

• 12.2% target share

This suggests an existing comfort with T. Lawrence.

(enticing for PPR leagues)

Also encouraging: 55 runs over 20 yards over four years at Clemson!

The Jags are ready for Etienne to realize his first-round pedigree.

This is a breakout candidate to keep an eye on!

3. Rhamondre Stevenson (NE), ADP 120.8, RB38:

Sure, he’s behind Harris...

But the Pats were 7th in run-pass percentage last year.

There’s room for both guys to be productive in best ball leagues.

Stevenson should be ready to make a 2nd-year push.

He dropped decent numbers in 2021:

• 4.3 true yards per carry

• 9.6 fantasy points per game

• Top 20 in breakaway run rate

• Elite 35.4% juke rate (no.4 in NFL)

But here’s the juiciest detail…

Stevenson was 4th in the league in yards after contact per rush!

The first three?

R. Penny, J. Taylor, N. Chubb.

That company puts Stevenson firmly in breakout territory.

I love grabbing him at RB38.

4. Chase Edmonds (MIA), ADP 110, RB35:

What can we gain from his time in AZ?

• 4.7 true yards per carry in 2021

• 3.5 rec/gm since the start of 2020.

When J. Conner was injured:

19.95 PPR points/gm (Weeks 16-17)

Small sample, but huge upside!

Also, in 2021, Edmonds was...

•12th in juke rate

•11th in breakaway runs

• strong catch rate (81.1%),

• solid yards per reception (7.2)

He's more explosive than Gaskin, so that's a competition to watch in camp.

If Edmonds is the starter, he’s a massive breakout candidate.
