Zero RB strategy is high-risk, high-reward.

If you avoid the studs, you need to do 2 things:

1. Get the right guys in the middle rounds

2. Hit big on some late sleepers

Here are 3 RBs who could be those sleepers.

1. James Cook (BUF), ADP 104.6, RB35:

Dalvin's younger brother enters the league on a supremely explosive offense.

At Georgia in '21, he averaged 6.4 yards per carry on his way to 728 yards and 7 TDs.

He has big potential in the passing game...

In 3 years, he hauled in 59 balls while catching 84% of targets.

27 of those catches came last year (PlayerProfiler)

With a 2nd-round pedigree, he has potential to be Josh Allen's 3rd-down guy.

2. Melvin Gordon (DEN), ADP 109.9 RB37:

We all want Javonte Williams to happen.

But did you know he had the exact same number of carries as Gordon in '21? (203)

They were more similar than you think:

Gordon vs. Williams (per PlayerProfiler):

• Yards per touch (4.9 vs. 5.0)

• Points per game (12.1 vs. 12.2)

• Yards per reception (7.6 vs. 7.3)

• Fantasy Points per opp (.81 vs. .80)

BUT, Gordon had more red zone touches (46 vs. 37) which led to more TDs.

Yes, Williams has the greater upside.

But Russell Wilson will boost the offense, and the new HC knows how to use 2 RBs.

The PrizePicks O/U for Gordon is set at 725.5 rush yards.

That's 225 fewer than Javonte.

Did they get it right?

3. Dameon Pierce (HOU), ADP 129.5, RB43:

This one is strictly for the situation.

Marlon Mack is on a one-year “prove it” contract with Houston,

And Rex Burkhead is 32 and seems to project more as a third-down guy.

Pierce may be raw, but he did average 5.7 YPC and scored 16 TDs for Florida in '21.

Volume could be coming, especially if something happens to Mack.

Just be wary of the Texans offense.
