1. Diontae Johnson (PIT), ADP 47, WR23:

There’s no denying the talent.

He was one of the biggest reasons the Steelers were able to stay relevant in '21.

But the situation is different now.

The WR8 had 17.2 PPG, but needed a ton of opportunity to do it.

• 4th in target share (28.5%)

• 2nd in dominator rating (33.9%)

• Most routes run in the league (594)

Competition for targets seems stiffer this year, so it will be hard to repeat.

Currently, Trubisky is winning the QB job.

He only threw 8 balls in '21, but over 10 games in '20:

• 31st in accuracy rating

• 29th in true passer rating

• 29th in catchable pass rate

You get the idea. Tread lightly with Johnson in 2022.

2. D.K. Metcalf (SEA), ADP 53.8, WR26:

Metcalf looked surprised to see a perfectly thrown ball in practice...

Because it had been so long.

(Seahawks reporter @CorbinSmithNFL)

Not exactly a glowing endorsement of the QB situation.

Russell Wilson's departure will undoubtedly hurt Metcalf, who was:

• 85th in true catch rate (76.5%)

• 93rd in target separation (1.23)

• 55th in contested catch rate (35.5%)

He also disappears more than you think.

From weeks 10-15 last season, he averaged only 3.75 PPG.

Considering he gained 967 with Russ in '21, I can easily see that under hitting.

3. Allen Lazard (GB), ADP 75.5, WR38:

Ayahuasca Aaron needs to replace the targets of Adams and MVS.

So there's no doubt Lazard will benefit.

BUT...

Lazard is NOT Adams.

Per PlayerProfiler:

• 81st in route win rate

• 71st in true catch rate (80%)

• 47th in yards per reception (12.8)

• 80th in yards per route run (1.35)

And he'll get more attention from defenders this season.

Rodgers was also supremely accurate targeting Lazard.

His QB rating on those targets was 138.2, as opposed to 111.9 overall (Statmuse).

Is that sustainable?

The price isn't horrible here, but Green Bay's WR1 is very much unclear to me.
