Winning on DraftKings is not easyâŚ
But we did 99.99% of the work for you.
21 of the âTop DFS Picksâ in Week 8:
These are our "Locks of Week"
And when I say we,
The guys you need to have exposure to.
QB: Jalen Hurts (DK $8,300 - FD $9,200):
Welcome back to the main slate!
Jalen is just an obvious play vs. Pittsburgh.
He's been as consistent as they come (aside from the Dallas game).
There's just one risk factorâŚ
It's the Eagles D.
If they obliterate Kenny Pickett, the throwing volume drops.
Then again, Josh Allen's numbers vs. that Steelers team were darn good.
On this slate it's Jalen, then a big drop.
So Jake gives you permission,
Especially if ownership stays low.
Going cheaper?
You could go with Andy Dalton (DK $5,500 - FD $5,100) vs. Las Vegas.
Interesting matchup, we'll talk more about that in a bit.
But we're looking at Sam Ehlinger (DK $4,000 - FD $6,000):
Salary looks great!
It's tough to pull the trigger though.
Why?
He's got a low floor,
even with some rushing upside.
The ceiling is probably 20 IF all goes right.
Maybe keep this one in smaller slates only.
RB: Tony Pollard (DK $6,800 - FD $6,300):
Ezekiel Elliott is likely out.
Even if he isn't, the shift has started, and Pollard is taking over in Big D.
The red zone snaps have been equal, but the touches have gone to Zeke.
No more. Pollard is RB1 territory.
In factâŚ
RunTheSims is good to Tony this week.
He's the no. 1 rated player, showing up in 26.4% of optimal lineups.

RB: Kenneth Walker (DK $6,500 - FD $8,400):
Rhamondre Stevenson will draw ownership in this same price range.
The Giants are deceptively poor vs. RBs.
They clamp down inside the 10 yard line, but they're not good in midfield.
Consider:
NY Giants recent opponents' rush yards:
⢠Tony Pollard: 105
⢠Kenyan Drake: 119
⢠Travis Etienne: 114
Basically, just start RBs vs. the Giants.
And with no DK Metcalf, Seattle could lean on Walker, bell cow style.
He should reach 100 yards easily.
We love Walker to go OVER 80.5 rushing yards on PrizePicks.

RB: Saquon Barkley (DK $8,100 - FD $9,500):
Speaking of good defenses to run against.
Seattle is ideal for Saquon this week.
Costly but always a big threat.
Go ahead and fit him in.
WR: Davante Adams (DK $8,600 - FD $8,500):
This is a super interesting game for stacking purposes.
Marshon Lattimore hasn't practiced all week (as of Thursday)
Even with him though, the Saints D is bad.
Think about WRs the last few weeks:
⢠Ja'Marr Chase: 7-132 -2
⢠DeAndre Hopkins: 10-103-0
Adams will have a ton of targets, and will probably find a way to score.
He's in the convo as WR1 this week.
WR: Chris Olave (DK $6,000 - FD $6,900):
Price isn't really where it should be yet, but it will get there.
Also:
⢠No Michael Thomas
⢠No Jarvis Landry
⢠14 targets last week
The numbers are there,
and so is the juicy matchup with VegasâŚ
The Raiders made Davis Mills look good last week.
They surrender a TD per week to WRs.
It's sort of disguised because they don't let guys get 100 yards,
But that's because teams spread it around.
Olave won't have that problem,
even if Bad Andy Dalton shows up.
WR: D.J. Moore (DK $5,300 - FD $6,200):
Who else is left for the Panthers?
⢠Target volume goes up without Robbie Anderson.
⢠Target volume goes up without Christian McCaffrey.
What will he do without either?
Moore and Olave are similar in that both
get between 25%-30% of team targets.
If a team nears 30 attempts, then these guys are approaching double-digit looks.
Big potential there, lock 'em in.
TE: Juwan Johnson (DK $3,200 - FD $5,200):
We aren't just chasing the 2 Week 7 scores. Promise.
The volume situation is legit.
And he is getting red zone looks.
He could grab another TD in Week 8.
TE: Dalton Schultz (DK $3,700 - FD $5,100):
This one's about Dak Prescott.
Schultz caught all 5 targets last week.
And Michael Gallup isn't stepping up.
Schultz is Dallas's no. 2, and he's had big numbers before as the no. 3.
Good place for a big game.
Honorable Mention TE:
Noah Fant (DK $2,800 - FD $4,700):
This is the play to save a little salary.
As we mentioned, Metcalf's targets need to go somewhere.
Fant can do damage vs. the Giants.

Locks aren't the only thing you need to succeed in Week 8.
You also need to find those overlooked tournament and GPP players.
That's the basis of my chat with @JMToWin (http://oneweekseason.com)
QB: Sam Ehlinger (DK $4,000 - FD $6,000):
The Colts o-line has been poor. Just look at Matt Ryan's performance.
How do they offset it? Designed QB runs.
Ehlinger had 33 rushing TDs in college.
If he puts up 17 FP or so that's great.
BUTâŚ
JM likes to ask the following:
"Can this player put up a score that you can't win without?"
Ehlinger might not quite get you that.
But Daniel Jones (DK $5,700 - FD $7,500) just might.
Think about it,
Jones's opponent, Pete Carroll, called the Giants the toughest rushing team.
Jones is as much of that as Saquon Barkley.
He can separate with his legs vs. the poor Seahawks D.
Could be the score you can't win without.
RB: Raheem Mostert (DK $5,900 - FD $6,800):
This is a sharp play, especially in a build with someone like Ehlinger.
Why?
With a low-cost QB, and mid-range RBs, we can go quality chalk at other positions.
And Mostert gets that Detroit D.
We're just attacking them as usual.
Tony Pollard (DK $6,800 - FD $6,300) pairs nicely with him.
Together, they open up the WR position.
Case-in-point?
WR: Tyreek Hill (DK $8,500 - FD $8,700):
He's such a focal point of Miami's offense.
Likely to see double-digit targets any week.
Big spot here, even stacked with Mostert.
Let's stay in this game for the next guy.
WR: Amon-Ra St. Brown (DK $6,900 - FD $7,200):
Miami-Detroit is a game that could exceed point totals in this weak slate.
The Sun God's been battling injuries.
But we've said all along, if he's under $7K, we're using him.
Too much potential not to do it.
Great GPP play
TE: Pat Freiermuth (DK $3,900 - FD $5,700):
Pittsburgh is likely to fall behind this week.
Freiermuth has a unique downfield role that many TEs do not.
He could reach 70 or so yards on around 5 catches.
In a week like this, that could separate.
TE: Irv Smith (DK $3,500 - FD $5,000):
Arizona is odd sometimes.
They can handle the opposing WR1.
Irv isn't a guy we go to often, but in this circumstance, it's not a bad play.
Especially if they shut down Justin Jefferson.
While we're on the topicâŚ
WR: Adam Thielen (DK/FD $6,200):
He's an honorable mention for Week 8.
Kirk Cousins will go to him if he's under pressure, and Jefferson is bottled up.
He's a threat for a score anyway.
DEF: NY Jets (DK: $2,900 - FD $4,500):
The Pats are struggling on offense.
Going vs. Mac Jones at sub-$3K.
It's worth a throw.
DEF: Philadelphia Eagles (DK $3,900 - FD $4,600):
We know this D is good.
JM thinks Kenny Pickett will be on a big winner some time this year.
Just maybe not vs. Philly.
