Fat Lenny (ADP 32, RB11) is one of the most popular RBs in fantasy,

But I have some concerns about drafting him at his current ADP.

Here's why:

Let's start with his injury history. He's never played a full season in his career.

In '21, he missed the final 3 reg. season games, killing fantasy playoff runs.

Despite being PPR RB6 and standard RB11 last season:

Lenny went over 100 rush yards in only 2 of his 14 games...

(under 50 in 7 of them.)

He created just 2.57 yards per touch (28th), so there are some concerns between the tackles.

Let's dig deeper...

Fournette was just 26th in true yards per carry (4.3).

And he's not especially athletic either.

Lenny posted a 23.3% juke rate (33rd), and a 4.4% breakaway run rate (22nd).

His 20.9% dominator rating was just 23rd. Lower than many people think.

Tampa had the lowest percentage of rushing plays in the league,

Leading to the 7th-fewest rushing yards.

This year:

They face the 2nd-toughest strength of schedule for RBs (FantasyPros)

Plus, they had to replace two key o-linemen.

Those units can take time to gel.

There is good news... I think?

Lenny's true fantasy value comes in the passing game. He averaged 4.9 catches and 32.4 yards per game.

Problem is, there are signs that those chances could take a hit as well.
