The BEST RB Outside the Top 12:

James Cook (BUF), ADP 53.8, RB13

Last season Cook barely snuck into the top 20 in fantasy points per game, coming on hot toward the end of the season. But 6 of those final 10 games ended up as top-12 fantasy weeks, which has a lot to do with the usage he saw under offensive coordinator Joe Brady. Luckily for Cook he remains with the team this season.

Cook really makes his fantasy bones in the passing game. He was 6th in yards per route run and 2nd in yards per reception. He racked up a respectable 1,567 scrimmage yards for the Bills’ offense. He also proved capable of breaking tackles at a solid rate. Touchdown equity is a significant downside with Cook, but if he can improve on his total of 6, then watch out! Cook has a top-5 ceiling.
