The BEST Fantasy Starts in All 3 Thanksgiving Games:
WR - Jameson Williams (DET)
Williams has cleared 50 receiving yards in 3 straight games, averaging 80 yards per contest. But the real edge lies in how the Bears are likely to play him. They run zone coverage on nearly 75% of passing snaps, which is the 6th most in the NFL. They also favor cover 3, against which Williams posts 2.74 yards per route run. So with an increasing target share since suspension, expect Williams to get it going on Turkey Day.
RB - Rico Dowdle (DAL)
With the overall state of the Cowboys, it hasn’t exactly been consistent for Dowdle. But, I’m ready to start him this Thursday. Here’s why: The Giants rank dead last in the NFL in yards per carry allowed (5.2), and give up the 2nd-most total yards to backfields (153.5 per game). Dowdle hung tough last week against the Commanders, with 86 yards on 19 carries. So, with the Cowboys coming into this one as heavy favorites, a high-volume, productive day could be in store for Rico.
RB - Josh Jacobs (GB)
Jacobs has averaged 96 rushing yards per game over the last 5. But, what’s even more encouraging is the Dolphins’ defensive inefficiency against RBs. They rank 29th in points allowed per touch to the position, consistently giving up chunk plays. Last week, Jacobs forced 11 missed tackles. So, against Miami I expect Jacobs to dominate on volume and matchup alike.
