The Best and Worst WRs of Round 1:

Best: Ja’Marr Chase (CIN), ADP 1.0

It’s not really a surprise that Chase gets the nod this season over guys like Justin Jefferson and CeeDee Lamb. Jefferson has a new untested QB, and Lamb is coming off a season where he was banged up pretty good. Chase led the league in a number of important fantasy stats, such as touchdowns, receptions, and fantasy points per game. Returning in the Bengals offense should give him the opportunity to put up huge numbers again.

Worst: Malik Nabers (NYG), ADP 9.5

I like Nabers as a player. He set the rookie record for receptions last season, and a quick look at the Giants’ depth chart indicates he’ll command a ton of looks again. But, the volume isn’t the only thing I’m worried about. While in theory, the Giants should get better QB play, there’s no real guarantee they will score a ton of points. They only won 3 games last season and were near the bottom of a lot of offensive metrics. So, a mid-first is too much to pay for Nabers this season.
